It does feel like they forgot that, maybe they didn't want to just retread SS1-3 but blue, which is fair I guess, but it irks me that those should be the next logical steps yet aren't. The whole Blue Evolution/Ego/Instinct shit just feels random, which at least works better with Beast.

Or change it so that when Whis takes them back in the past before Dabura kills Supreme Kai, he'll use angel magic to put Trunks and Mai in their old bodies, but it means Trunks won't have Ssj2 or Ssj Rage, which I feel is a ok compromise.

She had a pure heart since she wasn't interested in men yet (even after falling for Goku, she wanted to at least marry him first), though the purity aspect might be up in the air ever since DBZ (it would honestly suck if Upa would never be able to ride it again after becoming an adult). Supposedly as long as your heart is focused on something that transcends the desires of the world and remains pure in that regard, Flying Nimbus won't kick you off. Like yeah, Goku never knew the difference between men and women and was never shown to be affected by sight of boobs, but I have seen fan interpretation explain that his fighting spirit is pure due to how he upholds honor. We never saw Vegeta ever attempt to ride the Flying Nimbus despite not having shown interest in women before staying with Bulma's family, yet even though he has a similar fighting spirit (as is the Saiyan way), his was tainted by vengeance and other forms of hatred before his allegiance change, so Vegeta is likely to never be able to ride it himself.


Now Dark Nimbus exists in the anime possibly to circumvent this or to show off the yin-yang aspects of it, but Korin still controls it remotely, so it's not as free as the Flying Nimbus. Honestly, imagine if Vegeta could've used a Nimbus.

NuBroly just exists. That's it. He has no character. He is just a mindless retard with the worst temper in existence. Also, somehow omnipowerful. They brought him back for fanservice and then did nothing with his concept save ruin him. Same with Bardock.
The actual Broly is a omnicidal maniac because everything else may as well be nothing compared to him. He was Beerus before Beerus showed up except he didn't become a joke. Even in the games, he has more presence than NuBroly. "Baby crying thing make him crazy, lol." So what? Fuck is anyone going to do? He blew up a galaxy for no reason. Offending him is the closest anyone could do to actual damage before the asspull finales of the films. That had more substance even without headcanon.

While I'm at it. The new godforms are retarded. Bring back Super Saiyan 4. If you're going to canonize freaking Broly, you can do that too. It's the only level past Super Saiyan that feels thematical and appropriate. Everything else is "Remember Super Saiyan?" I don't even dislike Gohan Blanco or Giga Nigga Piccolo as much as them. Those were way better than "lol, these godsforms existed the entire time, you blundering fucking monkeys"

Even ties in with that initial lore bit of Super Saiyan supposedly only being possible in great ape. Makes you think maybe this was the real Super Saiyan the entire time. Could be they were just using an ill-refined version that came from being incomplete saiyans. SS3 makes them out to look like Neanderthals. SS4 is the perfect combination between humanoid and the great ape. Doesn't even have the massive drain 3 had or blue now has.

Z Broly was never a particularly bad character and the DBS version is a downgrade in every way, but people can't accept that for some reason. The complaints about his trauma don't hold up well either, it's not too weird that he associates Goku disturbing his rest with the day he was stabbed and thrown in the trash.

And the "he only says Kakkarot" thing is another bullshit criticism and only applies to the sequel, he was rather talkative in the first one aside from when he was under mind control by Paragus.

God of Nothing and I discussed that on the previous page, and it shows you how little consistency that shit had right out of the gate. It's even worse when the Hail Mary against Freeza was his own bad fuel efficiency, and that was just weeks ago in the story.

People don't like him because he's neutered compared to the original, and without that bloodlust he comes dangerously close to being a book-dumb Gohan. His movie is the second highest grossing DB film yet though, so bamco isn't brushing him aside anytime soon.
