There were plenty of close calls in DBZ, Raditz almost died without Goku having to die, Nappa & Frieza were both almost killed by Krillin, Babidi almost died to Piccolo, Yamcha died at the last minute when presumed the victor in the Saiyan saga, Yamcha came close to dying during the Piccolo saga, Goku almost died in the Piccolo saga twice, he was almost killed in the Red Ribbon saga, Goku avoided a third near-death with an assist from Tien in the Piccolo saga, ect.

According to MaSTAR himself, he picks out each character's Japanese dialogue based on tone of voice.

2. There were a bunch of people saying that he purposely blocks certain videos of his from being viewed in Japan, namely his Anime War series.

His subtitles are absolutely incorrect, most of the time it's just random. Maybe it would have been better to not have audio?
The tone is fine, but if the subs are wrong and the viewer gets the gist of what the character is actually saying... then the viewer's likely to get confused.

And the reason Toei took so long to take down his videos was probably because he blocked them in Japan (or just that they don't tend to notice most DB fan content at all, aside from maybe TFS and Mastar himself).

Mmmm no, he has not, that didn't become a thing until he came back from the dead, and even then it's only a handful of characters he's done this to, which I can count on one hand with Nappa, Recoome, & Burter.

Lol, his whole gimmick as an initial parody protag was that he's far more powerful than everyone else that looked legit(exemplified by Yamcha, who is the 'real' martial arts protagonist stand-in to contrast) but he's a gigantic simple-minded moron. He is horribly overpowered compared to everyone else in the first arc, he punches Yamcha so hard he bounces of the comic book panel (or ping pongs off a bunch of rock in the anime iirc). Only reason he technically loses is because he got hungry and fell asleep. Whenever things boiled down to just fighting he won easy.

In the tournaments' undercards he always either steamroll wins, or is written to let his opponents do all their signature shit before brushing it off and just winning. He basically steamrolls the entire Red Ribbon Army by himself. His only real opponent was Tao, who he also steamrolled in their rematch. He does the same thing in rematches to Tambourine and even King Piccolo, who only manages to stop Goku from butchering him by taking Tien the retard hostage. He also blows a dude's fucking brains out with a single kick, the same dude Tien couldn't even scratch.

Goku's starting point was being overpowered as shit with only a handful of people able to compare to him at any point, and then he just kept getting more and more busted.

Vegeta has steamrolled more people than Goku, which includes Qui, Dodoria, Zarbon, Guldo & Jeice.

But after he grows up he stops killing people, which is the whole point of the ending of the Piccolo arc. That's a neat bit of development for him actually. The full circle from parody protag, to real protag with decently moral judgment.

There was never a fight like this after that though, except for Frieza who's power started to wane after he peaked because it was the first time he's ever done it.

His series "Anime War" is a very big example of this, being traced from not just Dragon Ball (both Z and Super) but also other anime franchises like Naruto, One Piece, and the list goes on. Tracing itself is pretty bad, but he also has a Patreon, so he's basically stealing other peoples' work and getting paid for it.

"Anime War" was taken down by (I believe it was) Toei Animation, so now he's turned into an anime reviewer, or in his own words, "Now I am working on my original series as well as sketch comedies and anime reviews / news"

MaSTAR is EXACTLY the kind of people I think of when the term "Dragon Ball Community" comes up.

Here's another retard I found. Studio Rojo. I don't remember how I found him, his profile has just been open in the background while I've been busy for the last few days, but he has some connection to other noteable figures in the thread so I'm assuming he made some sort of reponse to one of them and that's how I found him.

The thing that made me want to talk about him was this tweet. Here he is talking about one of his OCs, dressed up like an absolute neckbeard with an actual black cock next to him. Supposedly representing the year of the rooster or some shit but I find it very funny how it's specifically a black one. Obviously like the rest of these people he's also quite shit at drawing.

His whole twitter profile is basically just porn. He also has more OCs than any other person I've ever encountered, totaling in at a whopping 41 if I counted correctly. A list of all of them can be found on his newgrounds with links to their bios. He thinks of himself as somewhat of an author, hoping to have a book published one day. He writes on fanfiction.net though which is probably a good indicator that his dream will most likely never come true, although you'd be surprised at the kinds of terrible fanfiction smut you can find on sites like amazon. I'm also gonna assume he's some kind of woke asshole, given his connection to these other people who all seem to share this trait, as well has him having trans OCs, retweeting stuff about trans people, and working on some fanfic shit with a black woman as a main character. Also as a sidenote, has anyone noticed how VIZ, who I believe currently has a lot of the rights to Dragon Ball, almost exclusively retweets black cosplayers?
