Elaborating on what $quid said, the people seth grifts off of are sub-85 retards who will willingly sit down for dozens of minutes and listen to some fucker explain why Goku's number is bigger than someone else's. This is after Seth admits to: Creeping on a 16-year-old, admitting to being an abusive asshole to his "friends", and making "edgy jokes" (I have to agree with Keem, where's the joke?) about fucking 4 year olds. He also admitted to the "shit eating" claim, but swears he didn't encourage it. Press X to doubt.

I'm a shonentard and these faggots are the reason I'm scared of trying to make friend who like what I like. People like that get attached to people they shouldn't and their shitty relationships can go on for even longer than this uninterrupted without financial incentives. Also, he seems to think he can only ever do youtube for a living which is a misconception he really needs to drag himself out of because he can get help and he can use his youtube funds to put himself through some schooling but I understand living how he's lived and thinking he can't.

I also feel bad for him because he's a Bleachfag so he undoubtable gets bullied everywhere he goes.

Oh yeah, that part was cringe. I can understand him dropping a lot of his family stuff. He admits to too many fuck ups for it to sound like an excuse. Just proper context as to what kind of person he is and why he fell in with Seth. Man seems to be a damn good editor, which will get him to some places outside of youtube. Apparently a decent enough manager too. He got the english dub voices for Naruto and Ichigo, setup deals with Seth's sponsors, was in charge of the animators (I know it's because they all thought Seth was fucking crazy but still), and could put up with a lot of shit. Too used to youtube though, so I doubt he will.

He fell for the style over substance meme, yeah. Can't see what a hackjob the series really is. Poor bastard. Smart enough to be self-aware of his flaws but not smart enough to see his favorite series is shit.

It's still better than pretty much all modern battle Shonen except Black Clover which is primarily influenced by the big 3 and actually feels like it's written for men. As far as I'm concerned, that style is the substance and it's okay to like something just because you think it's cool, it's less gay than being a redditor about your taste and trying to pretentiously explain why all your favorites are super well written and intelligent.
