John Epler (Creative Director at BioWare) shares on BlueSky how he stated 5 years ago that one of his goals for Dragon Age: The Veilguard was that he wanted to see the phrase 'a triumphant return to form for BioWare' in at least one review

It's a ploy to have as many poor downtrodden troons and new meat to have a safespace gender bender experience even if you can't afford it.
 
I haven't played any bioware games so my opinion doesn't mean that much. But I have been playing Baldur's Gate 3 recently and really enjoying it. Yeah, the gay sex stuff is little annoying but it's all completely optional. The obsession with gender ideology dialogue looks so fucking bad in this game, like who is it for? If the game had a character that wanted to deal with stuff, if it was well written, it wouldn't be a problem, but all I've seen so far is so fucking deranged.

This cringe trend in video games, where every RPG has to have romance written by and for retards STARTED with BG2. Remember how fucking awful romancing anyone in the game felt? Remember the sudden "banter" in ToB, where the elf girl gave birth? That was the omen, the beginning of this jap sex game tier bullshit being injected into otherwise respectable titles.

Yup, this is precisely what Biobabies wanted. All I remember from DA2 and onwards is how much more progressive romance options have gotten, and this whole tranny nonsense is just the latest result of them pandering to the "modern audience".

Romances in RPGs are gay and almost never done right, that's a fact.
