I mean getting Solas to walk off to magic prison willing. (Or well to go off and sustain the Veil as the last Evanuris).

(With his girlfriend that is, we can't forget Lavellan).

Just as an aside tho,

I have to admit playing Origins-listening to Leliana sing Uthenera, I absolutely fell in love with the character, I realize its kinda cringy and all-but yeah Leliana is my go to romance replaying DAO.

Its even better if you don't initiate it early-do her loyalty mission and later in the game, just...wow Corinne Kempa is a treasure.

Leliana is my vidya waifu. Sorry.

This game is doing so well that the webshop I buy stuff from is giving it away for free with the purchase of new controllers. Had to go out of my way to find a new controller without the piece of shit attached to it.

Also “you don’t have to engage to Taash’s content”-lol what? You absolutely do if you want the “best” ending.
Also Taash insist that you refer to her as a "them" during a main story cutscene while discussing how the evil gods are winning and killing people by the thousands everyday.

Her feelings are more important to her then the fate of the world lol.

That's Dragon Age: The Veilguard in a nutshell. The end of the world plot is just an excuse for you to gather a bunch of self-absorbed narcissists and spend the entire game assuring them that they are always correct, they are the best, they are awesome, everyone loves them, and they are so precious-boo koochie-koochie-coo.

And after all the free therapy you gave them, they didn't even bother to include you in their shopping trips or book clubs because you only exist to validate them.

Really, the entire game is just a projection of the narcissistic "LOOK AT ME-EEE-EEE I AM SPESHUL!!!" mania of the people involved in scripting and directing this piece of shit.

I would sacrifice bioware in a heartbeat if that meant we got westwood, EA LA and other studios back.
Bioware has not been good for over 10 fucking years.

Even if they come back, there is no guarantee that they wouldn't be slop diarrhea churner the way so many studios are now.

Until they can find actual talented video game people to replace the current DEI/troon/fat childless white woman infestation, we are stuck in this mess. Fortunately, there are many older, better games to play in the meantime.

NGL as bad as them nuking Southern Thedas is, an actual game based on the events described in the Inquisitor's Missives sounds pretty awesome.

Like Aveline and Sebastian fighting tooth and nail in the free marches, the Inquisition holding out at Skyhold as Ferelden is basically turned to a dead wasteland, with Avvar and Chasind hunters bringing in game from the wilderness, as Orlais is overrun by civil war and the blight.

A real blight-not DAO's blight which the games note is uniquely less damaging than every other. Entire countries reduced to dead wastelands, tens of millions dead.

The Inquisitor desperately trying to rally political factions, as everything goes to shit in a matter of months.

But DAV though is basically a team of tumblr specials(or A03 bait like Lucanis) dealing with their personal traumas in between teleporting via eluvians to basically battle endless darkspawn, venatori and antaam mooks and then facing Elgar'nan and Ghillan'ain as final bosses, while Rook trades shade with Solas in dreams before the end of the game.

Well, it's a good thing that this game released in late 2024, as people at least talked about it for a month or two after released. That's... something, I guess.

Subsequent slops like Avowed and a few YAASSSS KWEEN games (whose names I can't even recall) barely lasted a month, if at that, of post-release talk. People didn't even have the enthusiasm to mock those games anymore, I suspect because we are all so tired of all these same-y slops being released back to back like the plop-plop-plop of someone with bad, wet diarrhea into a toilet.

Remember Immortals of Aveum? A game so successful I had to google how to spell 'Aveum' because I thought it was called 'Immortals of Avaeneum'?

Of course they only talked about how much it sucked. The only people who had anything good to say about it didn't even dare to defend the game itself, because it's shit, but instead whined about the chuddy chuddy chuds who chudded everything up.
