Why did it get an abrupt name change a year or two ago?
The name change was this year, which was as big a red flag as one can imagine.
EDIT: June 6 of this year, to be precise. During Pride Month, naturally.

It's literally the only tag I've added to my Steam account's "auto-hide and ignore games with these tags" feature. Automatic no buy if it has that tag. No exceptions. It's gone now but LGBTQ+ tag on first place is pretty funny too. Good luck selling that trash to the wider audience.
I wonder if the game will keep track of that interesting statistic (and of course phone home with it without user consent or knowledge). It'd be funny if the devs come out six months from now with numbers they can lecture the racists with.Oh, you have to sacrifice either the cute dwarf waifu or the negro warden.
I wonder which one most people will pick.
Its because its only for that week. Its a very short term snapshot.Top sellers on Steam is so bipolar. You see big releases in the top ones, but then there will also be indie shit or a anime VN that barely sold anything there too.
Wonder if its based on trend or something, so when you see explosive sales on a title it gets automatically picked.
I’ll be real with you.Top sellers on Steam is so bipolar. You see big releases in the top ones, but then there will also be indie shit or a anime VN that barely sold anything there too.

When I saw Epler say something to the effect of “Kieran was Dave’s idea” I think it dawned on me. The people in charge weren’t the people behind origins or even inquisition. (Well some of them were).Every other game in the series made a point of being a continuation of events set in motion since Origins, a game that came out in 2009 - some people have had storylines going on for almost two decades at this point. Choices that you made over the course of those games mattered to people and affected the world of the games accordingly.
But no, chuck all that shit in the bin. That doesn't matter. Got to make way for pronoun spergery and non-binary qunari.
Unrealistic. Who doesn't wind up having an unholy demon baby with the hot goth gf?"No, my loyal companions, I'm the Grey Warden and it's my duty to sacrifice myself to end this hellish nightmare once and for all. And for the last time, Morrigan, no, I don't see how making an unholy demon baby is a good solution to this particular problem. Goodbye my friends, and Alistair."
Thus the Warden struck the Archdemon, and while both dissolved into legend, an unknown power granted a last gift upon the dying hero: a vision of the future he had sacrificed everything to protect:

Superstitious folk swear that, on the gloomiest of nights, if you pay attention to the rustling of the leaves around Fort Drakon you can still hear the lasts words of the Warden:
"Oh, Fuck".
It looks like they actually did half-assedly do that. Taash says something about the "Shadow Dragons" calling people they/thems and coming up with the term non-binary in Thedas. A better writer would have actually come up with a unique term and intricate history behind such a huge exception to biologically enforced norms though. In regards to the non binary they/them and trans stuff, I gotta say something I saw on Twitter: this is fantasy right? I’m pretty sure you could get away with this if you just added some language or mythology to establish how a species/race/world/culture has something that establishes how this LGBTQ setup is a thing. Instead all we get is the same exposition dump that only the most hardened of leftist and left wing culture warriors think is how humans interact.
And even that you can break the blight cicles by having the soul of a old god in a child. Better plan than the Arquitect faggot.Unrealistic. Who doesn't wind up having an unholy demon baby with the hot goth gf?
The troons who made this game, had a female warden and romanced Leliana.Unrealistic. Who doesn't wind up having an unholy demon baby with the hot goth gf?
Don't say something you might regret. You know what? I want that baby appear
Damn. You are right.Don't say something you might regret.
Lmao then this was absolutely an ass pull by bioware. The crunch in the last few weeks must be insane. It explains the dogshit original trailer. The name change was this year, which was as big a red flag as one can imagine.

This is why it's always funny to see leftists screech about nebulous charts showing their turbowoke game is #1 right now on stuff like Amazon sales. When you release in a week when there's literally zero releases and the chart is based off of revenue, your only competition is the rare random indie game that came out for $10 and will need to outsell your $70 garbage game 7-to-1 to beat it on that chart. Its because its only for that week. Its a very short term snapshot.
If nothing else comes out, and the release is somewhat noticeable, its going to place highly.
Listen to this man. I was forced to watch American Horror Story with my lady. After several seasons of wondering, "what happened to that unholy demon baby at the end of Season 1?", my question was answered and I regret it.Don't say something you might regret.
And even that you can break the blight cicles by having the soul of a old god in a child. Better plan than the Arquitect faggot.
Well, only if that child doesn't go bonkers...
You know what? I want that baby appear and kill everyone involved in Veilguard.
The troons who made this game probably never even played the previous Dragon Age games. One I saw Epler say something to the effect of “Kieran was Dave’s idea” I think it dawned on me. The people in charge weren’t the people behind origins or even inquisition. (Well some of them were).
They aren’t remotely invested in the prior games emotionally or artistically. They weren’t involved in their creation or had minor roles compared to the people who did and have left or been laid off.
So when they tell you to “let origins go” what they are saying is “I don’t care about origins why do you?”
