If that's true they they'd need to be botting it or something since steam charts and steam db track players, not purchases. Jedi survivor was also a sequel action game(also not a bioware game), none of the rest of bioware's stuff launched on steam it was all in their bullshit origin client or was an incredibly delayed release onto steam(mass effect 2 was dvd I think? didn't launch on steam and had some goofy weird steam re-release later even though it's listed as January 2010.

much like those Respawn Jedi games which do unimpressive numbers on Steam but will then go and 10 million copies in its first month, this is par for the course for EA titles and BioWare.

ideally BioWare gets killed off and a better developer gets to work on those IPs but it might actually do good enough for EA to keep them around to fuck shit up even if Steam numbers aren't really indicating success. we'll know soon enough.

Well he's not wrong, it does come off as a parody of itself. It almost comes off like that "Q-Force" shit from a few years back where they had made an all LGBTQ+whatever spy group action anime thing that came off some fucking ridiculous it seemed like the show was making fun of the alphabet people. This game was easily $120mil AT LEAST.

This is the game that started development in 2015, and repeatedly had entire offices shuffled around from other games in an attempt to get something together once all of the original creative staff had left in the first 3 years. DAI's budget was estimated to be 150-200 million and that only spent 3 years in development. This turd likely ran over 200 million considering how long it was in development hell.

Despite repeated high profile failures (Andromeda, Anthem), EA thus far has been most reluctant to axe the Bioware brand, despite closing other, lesser studios for infinitely smaller sins.

I know a guy who was supposed to use it for a nonbinary character (different game) and he just either kept repeating the character's name or random nouns that can't be gendered, which also sounds retarded but less so than "xier". Unfortunately I think he is one of the few non-pozzed ones left, most translators are all full on the tranny train and think the generic masculinum is somehow discriminating.
