I think she does this because deep down she is very concerned about losing the financial core of her supporters, the people you see giving her the larger sums of money on the livestreams. They're not all there in one way or another, like the rest of her supporters, but they do have slightly more 'middle-class' sensibilities. I'm thinking of people like "Low Country Patriot," who does appear to have had a long career in the fashion industry and thus has more money than many others in Karlyn's 'community' appear to. That said, I noticed about six months ago that "Low Country Patriot" has pretty much stopped interacting with Karlyn on Twitter. Be interesting to see if she sends Karlyn any kind of Christmas present this year like she's done in the past - wouldn't be surprised if not.

Ordinarily, I'd agree, but the problem with Karlyn is that instead of condemning what Aaron Campbell Brown did, she denies that he was guilty. She defends the man, I believe, to protect her own ego. She can't even just say she was young then and made an honest mistake in picking a man. She continues to stand by her choices.

She keeps saying that he took a guilty plea because otherwise the government was threatening him with much more prison time. Maybe I don't know much about this kind of criminal justice, but...there is no way in hell I would ever say I was guilty of something like that when in fact I was innocent. No. Way. No fucking way. The evidence was such that no honest person could say that it was even possible that he didn't know the purpose of the website he helped program and operate. Then there was the camera installed in a shower head (something like that) in a bathroom young boys would be using.
