I made a few clips from this for archival purposes. It isn't as long as it appears, since the last twenty minutes or so consist of what I assume is his regular stream, and doesn't concern her.
He admits upfront to being friends with Keri Smith and Mike Harlow.
"Who is Karlyn Borysenko?" (Man, they sure did her dirty with that picture).
Explains how Karlyn interpreted a thumbnail containing an AI image of a "woke" woman as being a portrait of her. I do believe him when he says that it wasn't.
This was where he started pissing me off and even had me coming to Karlyn's defence. Yeah, she's grifting off the death of her dog, but she has an overly intimate/inappropriate relationship with her audience anyway, and she overshares with them about everything - the death of the dog is no different. There are so many things about Karlyn to criticise, the stream about her dog is definitely way, way down that list. It kinda does look like the "horde" are just trying to kick her while she's down, tbh (not saying they for sure are, but it looks that way, and this impression could have been avoided if this video had been done properly).
How is this video "psychological," exactly? Again, going so hard after her about her dog makes no sense to me. She does not admit to feeding the dog beer - it is quite clear that she is referring to what is depicted in the photograph that she has on screen, i.e., the dog trying to lick beer from the glass. And again - and this is a part of the cult-like nature of her community - she has a very intense, excessively over-familiar relationship with her viewers. This doesn't mean her grief is "fake."
These parts have some better points. But overall, I was pretty disappointed. I, Hypocrite did a much better job on her a few years ago, and it was a more entertaining video, too.
I completely agree. He even had me sticking up for her at a few points. Very disappointing, because she treats people in an objectively awful and abusive way, yet this can be quite fascinating to watch, so anyone with psychological knowledge could have made a really interesting case study of her. But this was not it.I also listened to the Disaffected thing and I just found it meh, mostly just stuff we already know and connections to cluster B that have been tossed around to death.
