this is Suzy - she's about 1-2 years old, I adopted her just over a month ago from a local animal charity
she was confused and stressed at first, but she's settled right in and has become very affectionate
if I make a fuss of her, she purrs away like an engine, goes completely soppy, rolls around and kneads any available soft surface with her claws (carpet, sofa, my leg...)

I love this thread, it has made my day better cause I love cats.

Anyway cat time!

This is Mr. Kitterson, he is a flame point siamese who just happens to be a senile old man. He has three distinct personalities which we call Mr. Kitterson(Regular), Mr. Hisserson(vicious asshole) and Mr. Kisserson(lovebug). He used to be my brothers but my brother gave him to me...man I never saw a cat get so depressed before but now he's mine!

This one is straight up my boy, his name is Bandit and he is also a lil stinker. He loves being held, he meows at me and will wake up if he hears me walking. He also likes his thighs being smacked. Weirdo. We rescued him and his three other brothers as wee young kittens

Also in memory of Bandit's brother C passing away unexpectedly not to long ago here is a picture of him. We miss him dearly...

This is George, she was born on Pi Day 2015 in a pile of shoes, the one dilute tortie out of her family. She’s also FIV+, but is otherwise sturdy as an ox and, appropriately, sweet as pie. My mom named her after a certain favorite Beatle of hers, before she saw the lack of testicles. So George is a Georgie, and she doesn’t meow, she quacks, and is a prolific pootster. She and the husband have fart contests. It can be like WWI here in the Ramen bowl.

We're in the process of unpacking the new house and my wife's cat Owl is a lazy fuck who just sits there, watching.

It's been a year since my youngest cat's death, so now I feel like I can talk about the cat I recently adopted without feeling too weird.
Meet Sasha, he's about three or four years old, very talkative, still a bit nervous at times and has weird thumbs

Cats like that can learn to grasp and pull. My grandparents had one that would snake birds out of the air with a single paw. Don't be surprised if he figures out how to open doors and grab food out of your hand.
