I have 6 cats but 1 is exclusively my husband's cat who hates me, 2 were feral strays that were born under an old porch foundation of the house that I tamed and took in and (3 more) one was pregnant.

This is husband's fault though, I was willing to give up the 3 kids. He didn't want to and now they've been with me for 5 years, they're mine.

Anyway here is the feral stray we've been feeding that I'm trying to tame to make #7

It's been a while and a few years so I figure it's time for an update.
I was still rescuing from bad homes and worksites up until last year, until I reached number 9 and wondered just what in the fuck I was doing with so many cats. The litter and food bills started to look stupid. The original plan was to rehome but it never works out. I become too attached and suddenly they're family. I've built an enclosure for them all now so they have free access to the house and some nice grass and dirt to be animals in. So 9 is what Im sticking with for the time being.











I have become that crazy cat dad meme, with gigs of cat pictures that no one wants to see.

Not sure which ones you are referring to here, although the Russian Blue stray I rescued has her 'could be a calico' moments under certain light

The orange one doesn't shed too bad surprisingly. On the other hand, it can take close to half an hour to brush the gray one. Especially if she doesn't want to be brushed as she is really strong for a cat.

This is like six weeks after my girlfriend got her and only the second time she mustered the courage to visit me in bed.

Actually hilarious I love this stray cat attitude of just going into some random house and being like "Wat up, where's the food?". Bonus points if she won't let you touch her, "This was not part of the arrangement!". I talked to someone on my profile about how one of my exes had a litter of kitties born in the hedge of her garden, four cats in total, mom was a housecat who, presumably, ran away from a previous owner. Two cats of the litter were much like your the-kitty-formerly-known-as-Darth.

You live an enviable life, no irony or sarcasm. I love seeing what looks like an enclosure in the last two pics. I wish i was able to do that for my cat.
