I use those big cappuccino cups with the big flat bottom. Big enough they work as a water bowl, hard to tip over accidentally, able to tip over intentionally if he really wants.
ok this is real Darth, this other cat is uh, just some guy, he's veey feral and does not like me, but he is fixed and he's warmed up a tiny bit (he ate in my general vacinity). 3 days in and this is the best I've got. Welcome Akuma
How did random cat end up in the mix?
a true comedy of errors. after Darth and Obi's house burned down, the boys initially went to my schizophrenic dad's house, who lived nearby and is actually quite fond of cats, but proceeded to lose Darth almost immediately. a local shelter called saying they had found Darth after some inquiries, that was Akuma, and perhaps optimistically Akuma went to my dad's. next time I saw him he informed me Darth was gone again, so despite my lease, I took Obi, and found Darth wandering the streets, who coincidentally came back the same day I was getting Obi. Akuma then proceeded to live as a schizo cat in my dad's ceiling, until he managed to wrangle him back outside and we got new reports of Darth being around. thinking we had grabbed the wrong Darth, we returned, wrangled Akuma, and now I have the schizo feral cat in my house too. the two are alarmingly similar down to their white belly spots and weird black whiskers, so I guess for the time being I'm working on socializing Akuma before figuring out if he's adoptable, or he can just be my weird schizo 5th cat that I never see. I have determined through a lot of analysis that Akuma was the shelter cat but we did coincidentally get Darth when I took them in
He's also an expert at putting holes in hands, arms, shirts, quite the fighter
wasn't there an old meme about a guy who's cat got out, he thought he found it, then his cat came home a couple of days later and it turned out he found an identical cat
