He goes in for tumor-removal surgery on Tuesday of next week.

Here’s a video of my late buddy featuring his crinkly ear from a repaired hematoma. I’ve had a lot of cats in my life but he was by far the most loving and affectionate little guy I’ve ever met. It’s been almost three years since he passed and I still don’t think I’m ready for a new one.

It turns out that my cat had a small cyst, so they drained it and removed the capsule. I had them send off the capsule remnants to the pathology laboratory, as I want to make sure that it is not something like a cystic tumor.

He is fine, but he is angry at having to wear a cone to prevent him scratching at the sutures.

We're doing floor renovations so we have boxes currently in the kitchen. Charlie really loves his cardboard boxes.

Why is he like this.

My eldest, Spike. He passed away yesterday evening, after 16~ years of being around.
My dog, Alfie, also passed away earlier in the year. He was 18, had him since near-birth.

2024 is not my year safe to say.
Goodnight, the both of you; I'll miss you both.

The newest member of the family:

Kitten.jpg

She's a Scottish Fold (which is why the ears are so small and folded), about 10 weeks old. She was from an "Oops!" litter with her mother being a pedigree Scottish Fold, and her father being a domestic shorthair.

She is one tough little kitten. She has no problem hissing at cats significantly larger than her if they give her shit. However, she loves people, and adores getting snuggled and petted.

striped gal.jpg
the striped gal, we managed to get her trapped and got her fixed, the others were looking for her while she was gone and seemed to be relieved that she was back
fuzzy ashen.jpg
fuzzy ashen guy
I don't think I have any pics with his nuts but he had some very noticeable balls
he disappeared a little while back
I like to think that it's because the recent crop of kittens include similar coat, and he went out for a pack of smokes

neighbor cat.jpg
not from the job, this guy was hanging around my mailbox one day, had a big ol' collar and I haven't seen him since, I assume he's okay
grandma neckpatch.jpg
this is the gal who was under my car in the previous picture, theoretically she's the grandma
she likes people to the point she nudges my hand when I'm feeding but not petting
bro.jpg
me and my guy hanging around doing not-gay things

"you didn't post pics of us being gay, right?"

mom and a kitten.jpg
mom and one of her three(?) kittens, they've started on solid food recently
I have some blurry bigfoot videos of the other two, but this one is clearly actually a kitten and not a pile of lint thrown across the camera's range
here's about the best I've gotten of the other two
bigfoot blur grey kitten.jpg
bigfoot blur second grey kitten.jpg
also mom solo, she alternately meows for food and hisses because you're close to her, like MEOW hiss meow HISS back and forth in a second
