Chalupa Batman was being pouty because I'm sure Squirtle committed some sort of grievous act against him.

Then a couple weeks ago, I apparently terrorized Squirtle while blackout drunk. (I just rolled back through my camera roll and found a shit ton of blurry Squirtle pictures.)

Other than my Siamese, Cream, who's been with us for 7 going on 8 years, we have rescued a stray 2 week old kitten, and I feed and clean her to make sure she gets strong.

She tends to squirm a lot when I try to though, but I get the job done successfully.

EDIT: Unfortunately, the kitten in question has passed away yesterday. Apparently she was sick. Explained why the mother left her, may she rest in peace

This is my aunt's kitten Maximus in July. Aunt's husband found him at a job site. Apparently his mother abandoned him or he got lost or for whatever reason this newborn has no mommy. My aunt's husband gave the mother cat some time to come back but she never did, so he took the kitten. I'm cat sitting him for a week soon :heart-full:

He looked smaller in the full picture but I didn't want any faces on the farms.

This is Alister. I picked him out as kitten a long time ago. His siblings were more or less feral (they lived in a family friend's basement but not really as pets. More like the mom found it a safe place to have kittens). All his siblings have long since died but Alister is still trucking. He looks beefy IRL but is really kinda scardy. He is a pretty boy, though.

Finally, my parents cat. His name is Panda. He's bitey and my mom taught him to open the screen door. He sometimes climbs up it.

Okay my fellow Kiwis i have a confession to make, my cat power level may be higher than my original post led you to believe:

Both are rescue cats, we got Lilith and her brother from a local animal charity when we bought our first home, Freya we got a couple of years later from a house full of weed smoking morons who personally i'd be happy to see beaten and thrown in a river. We were told that she was eight weeks but when we got there she couldn't have been over six, the white fur around her nose and mouth was yellowed from what i can only assume was nicotine and for the first couple of months she would try to suckle from Lilith who is very chill and would basically let her cuddle, something that still happens from time to time (without the suckling attempts).

I'll wait to reveal the full extent of my catpowerlevel until next time, but for the record if we ever meet in a public place i'll deny it.

P.S. Lilith's nose is always dirty and i have no idea why.

I can hazard a guess about the dirty nose - cat tears and nasal discharges contain porphyrin compounds, which give these secretions a reddish-brownish-blackish color when they dry. Some cats produce more than others, and of course they show up more clearly on light fur than on dark.

One of my cats has a perpetually dirty nose and it makes her look like a little urchin all the time.
 
Update: Day 2 with the kitten. He hates me *sigh*
I'm assuming some of it's being in a new place and not remembering me. He's only used to my aunt and her husband and they say he doesn't hiss and bitch at them.
He'll hiss and growl at me but purposely come up and sit by me... to hiss. It's only when he's active, though. When he goes in for a long nap he's super chill and let's me pet him and I think he even purred a little. Good thing is he's not outright attacking me. He is a bit bite-y, but it's all in play and not hard. I'm pretty bummed. I really wanted him to like me and let me hold him and stuff since my Aunt said he's into that. I'm hoping it gets better once he realizes I'm the one feeding him and I just want to give him love and pets.
