Sorry for the double-post, but here he is - Squirtle!
I was going to name him Taco Deadpool because Chalupa Batman, but Squirtle's a pretty awesome name, so I think I’ll keep it.

He’s been here for about 30 minutes now and he’s a huge love bug. Chalupa Batman’s pretty rattled, but Squirtle’s situated in the bathroom now so they can get used to each other’s smells and what not. For the next few days, there’ll be supervised introduction time, and then playtime. Hopefully they can hang out together by this weekend.

Getting him to sit still long enough so I could get pictures was an incredible bitch.

I like to bring in things from the mysterious outdoors for them to marvel at. This time was a shedded snake skin. So many sniffs were had.

Look at how happy Amadeus is to have my giant kissy mark on his face! Now all the cats will know how much his mommy loves him. Bruce is in the background being all jelly.
 
Couldn't bear being in a house without a cat (ironically we get Tilda 24 hours after our cat before her died because my mam cracked) so for the last month I've been on the hunt for a kitty. I have a dog and I didn't want a kitten so it's been pretty tough to find one that would fit; particularly because after Matilda I promised myself I wanted a non-black, ragdoll-type tom cat. But finally, here they are....

She's such a sweetheart; you can pick her up like a literal baby (who even needs a ragdoll cat), she'll give you kisses and even when she had a strange dog sticking her nose up her arse the worst she did was growl.

She was taken in as a pregnant stray so I got her after all her kittens were weaned and went to good homes. So basically she still has her teats and my cat currently has bigger boobs than me. IMG_0788.JPG
Also because I'm her sole owner I get to buy her whatever I want. Which obviously means she has a batman collar. IMG_0726.JPG

She still doesn't have a name yet, but she's getting microchipped tomorrow so I'm going to have to decide by then.
 
Squirtle has imprinted on my octopus Squishable. He always has to be cuddling with it.

Chalupa Batman, on the other hand, is irrationally angered/triggered by the Squishable, and is always attacking it. Once it fell off the bed on top of him and he spent the rest of the evening being wary of it.

So I brought this guy home from the ASPCA yesterday. He doesn't have a name yet, but he's already stolen my title of Handsomest Fellow in the Apartment.

meet this fatass named man-man. he starts purring if you so much as come near him and he does this thing where he lays on the floor and runs his hand over his head like he wants you to pet him

anyone who comes into our house is greeted by this loaf of orange and not even strangers are free of his snuggly wrath

sometimes i'll run through the house for some reason or other and he chases me
 
Nameless cat was supposed to be getting chipped on Monday; turns out she already has one and I can't do shit until her old owners either say it's fine to re-register or don't respond for 22 days. Rescue cats are great but unfortunately shelters can become so over-run the cats history and documents become lost. Which is pretty unfortunate when you come home to find this:

That's the living room window where she could've easily jumped down into the front garden and escaped with no chip or tag. As much as I love the little shit I'd much prefer it if she'd stop giving me heart-attacks like that :c
 
I've settled on Calvin as a name, and he's taken to sleeping on my keyboard. I'm seriously wasting less time on the internet because of this cat.

I won a WoW plush doll at work last week. I discovered the collar came off and Chalupa Batman became an instant badass.

My cat Teddy has the sweetest meow ever.

Its so weird because he is so vicious to birds.
