:story: Anyways, as an aside if you want more DTRH style videos you're better off sticking with EmpLemon. His video about Chris Moneymaker is really good, he even had custom pencil art made for it.
 
New Warrens which is literally them griefing on AI for 2 hours (at least I think, I've gotten 25% of the way before giving up). It's absolutely shameful, they don't know shit about it except buzzwords and they just egg on each other on how it's completely useless, bad for humanity (ie, people who recycle content like themselves) and just a bubble. It's especially galling on how they try to lower people who are smarter and more capable than them.

Being a modern "artist" is a mental illness.

Amazing topic, just got to the classic "modder uploads shit no one wants with bug fixes, gets assblasted when people mod it out".

Though it would take at least two more videos of this level of interest for me to say we're back.
 
Passed up on the Boatmurdered video but I quite like this Skyrim one. He's still got it, I hope he keeps up this type of content, I'll happily ignore any Vtuber weirdness if he does that.

Having said that, if his voice starts cracking and becoming higher pitched, I'm out.

This video was really good and was his best video since the Deep Blue video. The last lolcow/internet drama video he did was his Wings video which was almost 6 years ago. I wonder if he’s going to be going back to covering stuff like this after he said that he wouldn’t.
 
I've been thinking about the Skyrim video and I really liked it. But it made me think about how many losers there are that just mod other people's games and think their mod's are a masterpiece

It was funny near the end how he reveals their real motive was to suppress other bug fix mods and become the sole provider/authority of unofficial patches. That was already obvious very early, the moment they proudly wrote and displayed a list of all the smaller independent bug fixes they rendered obselete. It was always a power/authority thing. Why are modders such histrionic fucking divas? Even the non-tranny ones.

I thought the Boatmurdered and the EVE Online videos were both extremely underwhelming. Hoping this is a return to form. I haven’t liked any of the videos since the WingsofRedemption one, which is his best work.
 
The autism-fueled patience to put up with Arthmoors shit and voluntarily bothering with his contributions after continuously dealing with his meltdowns is disturbing.

It's not really a new behavior as even nerds can have a tendency to get queen bee syndrome. For people who aren't otherwise socially adept but have a certain level of talent, this is how they maintain pecking order. Hell, sometimes it's just a matter of being king of the anthill without much skill required. When KFDoom II came out, someone on YouTube talked about the manifesto included with the map pack calling out Doomworld and the commenter revealed that the owner of a popular Quake III server basically banned him from every active part of the Q3 community because he was salty that someone else managed to pull together a server that got decent numbers. Similarly, XKeeper (video game archive wiki troon) isn't even particularly good at his job, it's just that no one else right now is maintaining a database of cut vidya content.

It hits pretty good. If he can get one or two more videos out this year then he is on a good path for the long run
 
I remember checking his patreon randomly a couple days ago and saw he was posting the video the next day or so.
Felt kind of crazy seeing as how I've gone years waiting for his stuff and never checking.
 
The Unofficial Skyrim Patch is what happens when a multimillion-dollar company is too cheap to hire two or three employees to fix major bugs and instead delegates the task to a turbo Austist modder with a huge ego.

Nobody works for free, and Arthmoor was no exception. The price for his "free" mod was people validating his ego and meeting his demands.As bad as he is, I think Bethesda is to blame for refusing to fix their damn game themselves. It’s not like they’re a small indie company. Arthmoor just filled the vacuum.
 
I've watched the entire thing. It's pretty good. Arthmoor could've easily just stayed back and played it cool but modders always have to validate their ego in the most insufferable of ways.

Why fix their games when people do it for free? Though tbf they refuse to replace that fucking engine and the feature creep only gets worse.
