honestly Fred's vtuber model is just generic anime boy but it caters to a specific type of western viewerbase - the fujoshi ("rotten girls", women who fetishize gay relationships in Boys Love/Yaoi anime and manga) and the trannies. At least it's not Loren the Owl anymore.

His EVE video is sat at 4.5 million views after one year, double the May Island video, yet half the view count of the Deep Blue video.
Not sure how many of those 4.5 million managed to watch the whole thing though, I was never able to finish it.
I think it’s clear that he has no intention of going back to video making at this point, his upload schedule was already sporadic and I think EVE killed any momentum he had left.
It’s a pity, I liked some of his earlier stuff.

Playing, I pulled this video up because someone didn't believe me when I told them about it.
As for why was I playing it? Despite the coomer devs, it's fuckin fun.
Edited to add: the mod is called Black Reliquary, it's a total overhaul mod that has new locations and enemies and even a new narrator. It's a lot less Eldritch themed than the original and it rebalances most abilities, reworks a few characters and attacks, and is clearly made by a bunch of coomers because one faction is a tribe of scantily clad amazonian barbarian women, on top of the ladyboy shit

easy money. you'd be surprised at how much money fujoshi will throw at male vtubers, especially those that lean into classic Boys Love/Yaoi tropes like a submissive, moaning, weak femboy to a strong, overbearing handsome macho-man (by anime standards).
Sadly I don't know how to find his statistics under Astraline as the main website I'd normally use to see superchat and membership earnings, Hololyzer, doesn't have a lot of EN vtubers unless they're under Hololive or Nijisanji.
His youtube and twitch channels look fine. YT socialblade and twitch socialblade look decent for a vtuber/internet celeb of his size.

Like I'm pretty sure that every time Rice is referred it means Risotto, and they just use a shitty translation that probably makes the weird recipes come off as unintelligible.

Sounds just like the last warrens episode, where they bitched about some scam water filter from europe, and interjected each other over and over on of how dumb it was and how smart they are for knowing it's a scam, without caring about trying to give context to non european viewers, and the few info they gave over why the filter was bad was again, drowned on Fred and Mike's own circlejerking. It's honestly a shame that the idea deteriorated so hard in so little time, as while the first 3 videos still where largely unscripted, they still tried to inform and provide context for the viewer, while these last 2 just feel like an excuse for Fred to talk on discord with his friends.
