I feel like honesty can get you far. But instead of telling the truth to his fans and patreons, he waffled away the past three years and excusing it with corona, then delays from his artist etc. while he milked his patreon.

An honest person would have changed their patreon from a monthly billing to a per-video billing or better, stopped the patreon altogether with a message about losing interest in his content and wishing to try new paths, linking to his new stuff so people interested in it could check it out and those not interested in it wouldn't be scammed out of their money in the false hope that the EVE Online video was being worked on.

Who honestly cared about his owl vtuber streaming? I stopped checking it out after one stream, because I couldn't stand the crowd he'd somehow amassed in his chat and he veered off from content I find interesting. How many of his viewers are frequent viewers and how many of them are one-and-done, or worse, how many of them stumble upon his channel thinking it's more DTRH and instead get a faggy owl, now anime bishonen, talking about "rabbit holes" with little to no offensive content, a far cry from what he used to dabble in and stop viewing after 15 minutes.

It's so easy to shift the blame, especially when you're a pseudo-intellectual who has gotten a ton on teen troon/furries that are hugboxing him. Kiwi farms are evil, my artist is working hard but is delayed, I don't want to make content like my Spoony or Wings video because real people get hurt.
No, Fred, you need to face reality and accept that you've been stringing people along for literally years. If you want to make different content, great, but be a man and be honest about it.

I've been a viewer of his since he had like ~19k subs, when his most recent vid was the DSP one. I've witnessed him grow, flourish, and now seemingly go into the process of crashing and burning. It's like the life cycle of a star, but instead of being a space object it's a sadly typical path of a youtuber's career. He seems to be going out with a controversial bang as opposed to slowly fading away into a white dwarf.
 
I wonder if he's finding excuses. First it was him insisting that he had to re-write half the video because he had accidentally plagarized something (I sincerely doubt it was that bad). Now the script is totally done but the animation isn't and also the animator is always sick.

If he wants to move on he should move on - his channel is dead in the algorithm anyway so this video will likely not get much exposure. I assume quite a few of his Patreons either forget that they're subbed or don't realize that he's not actually doing any work.

Also this guy, of all people, should not be saying anything about KF. There's plenty of Youtubers who just call us a "controversial website" and move on to talking about weirdos.

I remember him saying he was an esport caster or some shit like that.


Also I remember him saying he installed Tinder to see if non-internet people would want to fuck him. Can''t find the vid, it was a live with Jabroni Mike.

I really want to know how he didn't cringe at that. Considering he used to make documentaries making his vtuber the keeper for all knowledge in the ultimate library comes across as him having a huge ego because that's how he views himself.

Gentlemen, don't cry for what Fred was, just gawk and enjoy the ride of a competent youtuber becoming a full fledged cow! I missed out when Jim Sterling went fully insane, I learned about Cosmo when it had already happened, but ol Freddie boy is happening right in front of us!

Artists with no work ethic is the reason why if ever happen to do a personal project of mine that requires art assets, I'll probably reach out to some Japanese/Korean autist, the odds of hitting a genderspecial in the western sphere is too high and those have 0 work ethic.

My only argument for him not trooning out is that the vtuber avatar is male. It would probably cost several thousand dollars to have a new one made.

You know, on some level I thought I'd enjoy watching the birth of a lolcow, but now that I'm seeing it happen in real time to someone I "know" I'm more disgusted than anything else.
Perhaps the disgust will be replaced with morbid fascination eventually, but as it stands it's like watching the destruction of an old family home or an equivalent.

A significant portion of the production time for the Battle of May Island was spent recuperating. This burnout came at a horrible time because, as some of you might have divined from the ending of the Deep Blue video, I suffered a personal loss last year (about which I'm still reticent to speak, though I'm working on a project that will likely be made public to express it) and didn't allow myself the time to grieve, instead trying to power through it to keep working.

Remember when he went on the Official Podcast and claimed that Kiwifarms is da big source of evil which caused a little debate (I was wrong, he just politely called him stupid) with Kaya (One of the co-hosts of the Official Podcast who was following Kiwifarm's Twitter account during the time it was still there and started a little fight against Ethan Ralph)
