Hugo Martin visits Markiplier. The Marauder sure owns Markiplier! Also other parts of the stage not shown from any of the other videos from what I have seen or known starting at the 4:10 mark or whatever.

Not looking that artbook. I want at least some surprise going into Eternal, and I've already looked at too much of the game already.
Imagine going back in time 10 years and telling your past self "There is a Doom game that was so good, that I don't want to look at stuff for it's sequel because I don't want spoiled on anything." Before 2016 Doom was just "MAN KILLS DEMONS! RAWR!"

Marks playthroughs of 2016 was wonderful. You could tell he was genuinely enjoying himself, and sperging out over how great the game was.

Is it just me, or did they remove the demon glory kills? Because it looks like when you die now, you either keel over or explode into bits. That’s a bit of a disappointment. Having a revenant beat you to death with your own severed arms when you fucked up gave you a lot of incentive not to fuck up in Doom 2016.

That would really suck if they did, though I can understand why what with the enemy count being like, tripled. Hopefully it's something that ends up being in and it's just dumb luck that we haven't seen it yet.

I remember GManLives mentioning he got eaten by a Cacodemon when he tried out the game. From what I've seen, most of the deaths have been from projectiles (which produced a similar effect in 2016), but at the same time I've tried to avoid as much footage as possible.

To prevent double posting:

I'm excited to encounter the new arachnotron. I hope that the glory kills are like the ones in Brutal Doom if they decide to implement glory kills in the new game.

I haven't seen much player death in general.
I assume the people uploading content want to look competent while also showing as much actual gameplay as possible, with dying and restarting taking up time.

Then why did they let Dash Jump Deanie try the game?

If he has footage we should check it.
I'm sure we could easily find out if there's unique death animations for each demon.

They were allowed to post only 15 minutes total of in game footage iirc, and he spent those 15 minutes wandering around aimlessly, shooting and punching ammo pickups and trying to scale clearly unscalable environmental assets. I really wish we’d gotten to see him reach an arena and get absolutely clapped by easy mode demons.

I finally decided to try out Doom 64 EX. I kinda avoided it for a while because I'm not really experienced when it comes to finding ROMs (I don't really pirate and I don't use emulators). I figured, why the hell not, it's free after all.

I can't believe I didn't try it out sooner. The controls are infinitely better than the N64 original. I like that I can move without having to jam my thumbs against that godawful analog stick and I can strafe much easier. I don't feel so handicapped. And I can save without having to mess around with the Control Pak.

I had it back in the day, I know I mentioned it, I remember being so disappointed that it lacked features common in shooters at the time like jumping and aiming. Even Hexen made on the same engine had jumping and aiming. So I didn't play it that much but it held up pretty well today.

I would advise against playing on the hardest difficulty because all it does is just up the quantity of monsters and it's not difficult it's just boring facing twice the Hellknights or Pain Elementals.

Doom Eternal and the new Animal Crossing are coming out on the same day.

Can't wait to pair this fucking OST with gameplay. Mick knows how to make bangers that increase your testosterone just by listening to them.

Also is it just me, or does this one's intro sound more like a Terminator OST than a DOOM one?
Not saying that's a bad thing, mind you.

The Doom Twitter account is awesome because they repost other people’s fan art and actually give credit.

When you think of Doom Eternal, this is totally the type of music that pops into your head.
