i totally understand that, sometimes, folks have extreme personality changes/reactions to traumatizing events. however... this really feels like it's too extreme. fingers crossed that this is just some sort of long-term troll attempt/hurrdurr "social experiment" because it's fucking horrifying.

Hordes of these people exist on tumblr. There's at least one tumblr dedicated to hooking up females who want to be "raped" with male "rapists" irl. Apparently if someone's master wills it, yes.

I'm really not sure if this person is legit or not. The way they talk about their experience sounds sincere, and they're able to keep the details pretty consistent between profiles from what I've seen. The only things that stuck out to me in my search is they claim to be half-Jewish one instant then half-Romani in another. Also, one of their profiles contains a link to a strange FB page.

It's amazingly easy to fake a profile for prolonged periods of time and keep your details consistent, if you're willing to keep track of things. Some people enjoy the very idea of faking a personality like this. It's like catfishing.
