The hysteria this caused was incredible to behold.
A debate pedophile and televangelist grifter was shot by a lone gunman. Since his shtick was epicly owning college kids with sophistry, a bunch of college kids posted "ripbozo, lol." Not particularly notable or interesting, would usually have been forgotten in a week (which it ultimately was).
But due to social media algorithms and botnet activities, entire online communities were driven to the point of psychosis with more and more extreme interpretations and witch hunts and delusions of persecution. "They" "want to kill" "us."
I wonder how many of the people who fell for it at the time reflected on their lunacy and changed the way they engage with social media when they sobered up.
In the past, politicians would play these publicity games to win the support they need to implement policies.
For people like Kash Patel and Pete Hegseth, there is no deeper layer. The LARP and photo-ops are all there is.
It's especially bad for Hegseth. The guy is as obsessed with performing gender as the top 1% most insane trannies, with no relevant skills for his position. And yet this lunatic is in charge of the US military at such a critical time.
What do these people think "blood and soil" refers to?
"White nationalism" is an Americanism that can only arise in a society that has lost all contact to its ethnic (blood) and historical identity. A term for the ideology of a rootless internationalist clique of socially isolated outcasts (cast out for their anti-social mindset, their degenerate individualism).
In Chud lore, culture is a part of ethnicity, which has biological components too, that are shaped by the natural environment. "Race" is a sterile, empty category. The significant one is the "nation." A healthy society appreciates and protects the environment that brought it about and is rejuvenated and spiritually maintained through experiencing it.
In other words, "climate change" and "green new deal" are fascist concepts, while "de-regulation" is the rallying cry of the sort of people who would drive to extinction a species of fish so a millionaire can buy another golden toilet.
This selfish mindset is the core of MAGA, because it is the core of how Trump thinks, his narcissism.
Everything for me, whenever I want it.
No price is too high for society to pay, and no desire of theirs is too small to justify paying it.
IMO there's roughly a three way split in the current administration's view of the EU.
1) Conservatives see the EU as a major trading partner and reliable ally that invests heavily in the United States. An extremely valuable friendship.
2) Trump likes the fancy meetings with heads of state and even monarchies he can experience in Europe, but he doesn't like that the Europeans cause problems for his beloved Putin. Beyond that, he doesn't really care.
3) The Vancist camp.
Their view of the EU and NATO is based on algorithm driven social media content. The content they're fed is wall to wall ragebait botslop, a lot of it is pushed by Russian and Chinese networks. Their attitude is a strange melange of complete lies, hyper-emotive nonsense and a sense of cultural inferiority a "white nationalist" might experience when faced with ethnic identity.
Their primary goal is to harm Europe in every way they can, with no deeper goal in mind, and indifferent to the costs of this for the United States.
They also have direct contacts with the Russians, who provide them a strategic vision for weakening and ideally breaking up the EU, so Russians have a free hand for their desired invasion of the Baltic countries and Moldova. Unsurprisingly, the official Russian comment on the MAGA National Security Strategy is that it aligns closely with Russia's view of the world.
The Russian domination of the Vancist camp's actions extends to the US adopting the view that European countries should be ruled by 5th columnist parties that are antagonistic to the US while supporting Russia (often because Moscow pays key members directly). These are also the group of people who want the EU to replace American gas with Russian gas.
Typical "America First" stuff.
A general reminder that the supposed economic opportunies and profitable ventures for US companies in Russia are pure fantasy that will not materialize. The real offer is a handfull of Trump's guys getting paid by the Russians. A few million dollars to some American oligarch saves the Russian government hundreds of billions in military expenses, while the deteriorated world security costs the US consumers a fortune through inflation and increased requirements for military readiness.
You forgot the option of Vance taking over after Trump has a health incident, who is just as mentally ill as Trump is, but a lot more intelligent and capable. However, he has the charisma of a wet noodle and unlike Trump doesn't have a cult of personality, so IDK whether he would succeed at wrangling conservatives into submitting to his obsession with destroying NATO and the EU, for example.

If that is the case, then the only true patriots were the American Indians scalping white people in the 1800s. Even the European settlers came to America as refugees and were immigrants from Europe, and they were considered lowborn trash by the Europeans.
Puritan "pilgrims" whom the English saw as radical heretics against Anglicanism. Low-ranking Anglo-Saxons and Irish people whom the British nobility considered to be rabble. Sicilians whom the Italian (Sardinian) government considered to be criminal scum. Slavic peoples who were refugees from the iron boots of the Russian Tsar and the Ottoman Sultan. Jews who were considered garbage by most of Christian Europe. Germans who were hated by people like Benjamin Franklin for having an alien culture. The list goes on and on.
Besides, most of them were just copying the Spanish and Portuguese example, and those two were the actual conquerors who brought down empires and brought the light of Jesus Christ to millions of souls. The Iberians were the real conquerors. Everyone else, from the French, to the English, to the Dutch, were just copying their fad.
At least Dubya had some decorum and common sense. He was the last president I was proud of.

Hell, just trying to say all whites should be on the same team would've been heresy 200 years ago. The British saw themselves as above the Irish. The Germans saw the Poles as beneath them. The Sardinians considered Sicilians to be lesser Italians. The Jews, who were white, thanks to them being Sephardic or Ashkenazi, were considered worse than scum by most of Christian Europe. The idea that they should all get behind some kind of blanket "white" national identity is as stupid as Japan's idea in WW2 of "Asia for Asians" when the bloody Asians can't even get along with each other.
It's as stupid as saying all Africans should join as one national identity, which most tribes and warlords back there would skewer you for, if you were stupid enough to tell it to their face.

That's what it felt like when Kirk died; the MAGAs just wanted their excuse to go full George Floyd and riot against the Left. The fact that it didn't materialize because people didn't give a fuck soon led to the Right not giving a fuck about Charlie Kirk.
Some Right-wingers say that they're more civilized, since Kirk's death didn't lead to bloody riots. I say, they wanted those bloody riots to justify violence against the Left, and the fact that it didn't materialize made them seethe with jealousy.

It doesn't help that the reason George Floyd's death sparked riots was that he is another victim of police violence (like it or not, that's how many people viewed it) and it was during the lockdowns which gave more time for people to do things like riot.
Charlie Kirk on the other hand was targeted for the person he is. Even in the most deranged conspiracies about him, he is targeted specifically for who he is.
So it's a face to a victim of what is seen as a common injustice in contrast to a political celebrity who had pissed off a lot of people already. It gets even funnier when right wing people assume George Floyd is worshiped by the Left and for years made up memes about the dead guy, then get pissed when people would make memes about a dead Charlie Kirk

That's the inherent difference. That, and Charlie Kirk openly preached that having people die from gun violence is something we should tolerate, so long as the Second Amendment rights are allowed and the people have their guns. It turns out that one of Kirk's detractors decided to make him eat his own words, by making him eat lead. And people could barely give a fuck about it, even now.
Both deaths were avoidable, but between the two, Floyd was the victim of an authority figure clamping down on him, which the Left taught their people to protest against, whereas Kirk is the victim of the kind of gun violence the Right had taught their people to ignore, so long as guns remain legal. Hence why the people on the Left protested en-masse against what they saw as another case of police brutality, whereas most people on the Right could barely give two squirts about Charlie Kirk; most of them sent their condolences and moved on, because gun violence was something they were trained to tolerate so long as they get to keep their own firearms.
As tragic as Charlie Kirk's death is, he's just another case of gun violence, and the Right-wing commoners don't give a fuck about that. The Right trained their people to be deaf to the cries of parents who lost kids at school shootings and the like, to people who cry out in pain and anguish over loved ones getting killed in episodes of avoidable gun violence. They taught their people to blame absolutely everything else but guns, be it video games, parental neglect, or the media and culture at large. But the almighty firearm couldn't catch the blame, and no amount of cries or tears flowing from the eyes of people who lost loved ones in gun violence episodes would change anything for the Right.
So when Kirk died, most Right-wingers could barely give a shit, because they've been used to ignoring victims of gun violence for quite some time. Even if it was one of their own. That shit happens all the time. The Right barely gave a damn when some Catholic school was shot up by some nut not too long ago. So why would they care now?
Sure, some people at the top like Trump and his cronies, and your usual Right-wing bloggers, they got mad, or pretended to get mad, and they tried to turn Kirk's death into a rallying cry against the Left. But at the end of the day, their base didn't give a shit, because they were trained not to, so they had to drop the whole "Charlie Kirk" thing, despite the fact that they tried to pin his death on all leftists and tried to encourage violence against all leftists. It didn't work, especially given how their base is full of people suffering financially, so even the ones who care could barely muster the strength to protest, when they have bills to pay, mouths to feed, medical insurance getting lost, all thanks to their president's haphazard economic policies.
