I have a friend who put his life savings into Dogecoin at 10-13 cents , and at its peak around 76 cents, I told him to sell it but he didn't listen, choosing to believe Reddit/Elon hype.
He would have had enough to get through college had he sold, which was his original goal anyway. Has been really quiet about Doge these last few weeks.

Interestingly, I still know some associates who missed on the hype still looking to get rich quick by watching Dogecoin dips like hawks.

I held Doge from 7 cents to a high of 49 cents in 2021. I sold, got a profit of about 5k and I used it to buy a real dog. Then I named the dog Bear, one reason for which was that I was bearish on the outlook of dogecoin and thought a Great Pyrenees would be a better investment. I don't think I have made my money back off the dog, but he's very sweet.

DOGE could pump and dump again. The first spot DOGE ETF is expected to launch next Thurs the 18th, the day after an expected FOMC rate cut. Normie investors will be able to get exposure to meme volatility as a stock. This is what normies are being told:

The whole crypto market looks very bullish btw, similar to previous alt seasons. We're at the right point for it in terms of the BTC halving 4-year cycle. October through December tend to be the most favorable for crypto gains. And obviously DOGE is a household name through Elon's little fiscal responsibility project.

Basically there is an exceptional amount of hype and speculation around DOGE at a time when market conditions are favorable and the DOGE chart looks primed. How high it can go is anyone's guess. Currently trading between 25 and 30 cents. Previous ATH was around 70 cents. There's been a lot of new DOGE mined since then but we are reaching levels of retardation that nobody's ever seen before.
