Temptation, addiction, and lust for products and media a vector for easy demonic possession? Thoughts?

If by "lust for products" you mean playing with Ouija boards, yes.

Many things can be a vector of demonic possession. I read a story of a nun who didn't bless the cabbage she ate, and so the little devil that was sitting on it possessed her (I think it's in St Anthony or one of those other Egyptian monk books). But sin in general definitely is a gateway to demonic possession. And capitalism does provide a lot of opportunity for sin.
