My Sony headphones sound pretty good, but then again, they cost more than your monthly allowance from Mommy and Daddy.

does HIFI audio even matter if you are listening to music thats intended for radio and CDs
CDs are a pretty OK recording medium, since you're basically listening to lossless WAVs, and there are vast differences between proper monitor speakers and gaming grade small ones. These days even integrated audio is good enough, but an amp or some proper external audio interface should improve things somewhat. I tend to pick things intended for music making/recording instead of HiFi stuff. Like from Focusrite.
On shitty speakers or headphones it just won't matter.
A better discussion for dunking on spergy audiophiles is about cables and lossless vs lossy. Most people are unable to tell the difference between FLAC and MP3 at V0 and above even on a good setup.

Just buy airpod pros like a normal people. They just werk(tm)
I'm sure they do.

Audiophiles are mostly pretentious plebs who get easily scammed by the promise of higher audio fidelity and not worth listening to as a subculture.

Yeah it does. I listen to fuckin chiptunes and let me tell you good headphones make as much if not more of a difference than with typical "analog" music.

But first you have to define "hifi" because that's one of the buzziest buzzwords iñ the buzzstory of buzz
