I had the original bionicles. Had no idea what they were but got them one Christmas because some stranger put our family name on the "we're poor and suck at living" tree at the local shopping center. My favorite was the purple one.

Ended up getting a couple more because I thought they were cool. The battle scorpion things. They were fun until the rich kids stole or broke my stuff. Never really got into the story or anything. There was a GBA game I remember having at some point in time. Boy, did I miss out on the Bionicle community happenings.
