For ServSafe certification, they teach you to defrost chicken by running it under cold water. The water must remain running until the meat is thawed. You are then instructed to prepare meat under running water and acquire a clean, air-dried cutting board to avoid cross-contamination.It's so weird that blacks do this. They're dirty in every other way but all of a sudden they wanna pretend like they're all into cleanliness by washing their raw ass chicken. Which I've always heard is bad to do and quite stupid as well, making things much worse, as it just splashes the salmanella all around your kitchen. But, negros gonna negro.
Bacteria and germs are going to be killed when you cook the chicken. Running water over a raw bird and splashing salmanella all over your countertop and kitchen is gross and it's pointless too, as running water isn't gonna remove any bacteria/germs anyway. Any time you fuck with raw chicken, you wanna wash everything that it touched with hot bleach water: the cutting board, counter top, utensils, etc. It's very dangerous, can get people really sick. Washing the meat before preparation allows for cleansing of excess bodily fluids and any packaging issues. Very much like cleansing fruit before consumption.
I don't understand why anyone wouldn't defrost their meat in such a manner unless you had neat defrost functions on kitchen appliances. White people over here eating raw, unwashed meat.
Yeah but you wash fruit because it might have a little dirt on it. Chicken isn't going to have dirt on it like that since it comes sealed in a package, whereas fruit comes in open, exposed boxes. Not to mention, rinsing off a piece of fruit isn't splashing salmanella all over your kitchen.Very much like cleansing fruit before consumption.
