A lot of ideas passed around this forum are generally conservative in nature such as those of modesty, traditional cultural practices, and religious values. Do you ever wonder if people are being too much of a prude as you navigate the site? Do you consider being a prude to be negative?

I’m a prude by 2022 standards because I think it’s disgusting and shameful to make public comments about and curate your social media presences around your sexual fetishes. Kink shaming is a non sequitur to me. A kink is a sexual fetish. A sexual fetish is the manifestation of extreme abnormality in sexual desire and function. this is something shameful and it’s inappropriate and antisocial to discuss it in public, especially in front of children.

Maybe it’s because I grew up in a super catholic family. they weren’t conservative really, but I dunno we didn’t talk about sex at the dinner table. My parents sex life remains a mystery to me and I thank god every day for that.

Traditionally I've only ever heard the word "prude" used to refer to uptight women who won't put out.
Here is an entry by a deranged feminist on urban dictionary proving such. You can tell how effective the word is because of how mad they are:

The kiwis by and large seem fairly sexually deprived and thus they would probably put out with no more than average amounts of persuasion. So no, they do not seem too prudish.

This place is like the unmoderated comments sections of the Daily Mail. I can almost smell the stale urine of boomers as I read. These people were raised on self-loathing and shame, a form of child abuse perpetrated mostly by Christians.

If it wasn't for the principle of a free Internet, I'd barely pay attention to the dementia as their tickers stop ticking. Fuck them all.

Nah I've always been a 90s style lefty. The world has just gone so far left that I'm now in the right.

You and me both, save that I'm an 80s-style Lefty.

I've been called a prude for saying that porn addictions can ruin peoples' lives.

Considering the alternative, I guess it's a compliment.

I honestly could not care less what consenting adults do to or with each other in private, but:

1. "Consenting" and "adults" are non-negotiable;
2. "I could not care less" does not mean "I want to hear every detail about."

I also believe that porn addiction is as real as meth addiction since both involve dopamine hits. But I note that nobody is writing articles exposing "The Anti-Semitic White Nationalist Christofascist Roots of NoMeth" or "The Christian Taliban Want You To Smoke Less Meth. Here's Why That's a Bad Thing."

Pretty much this. I've always been a bleeding heart "live and let live" type, but I've lived long enough to see what destruction that mentality can bring when you're not critical and realistic in step with it.
By nature I'm not particularly prudish, but being a member of this clown world has made me reevaluate the necessity of things like modesty, traditions and even religion for the greater health of society. The sheer obscenity that is created when people en masse are told to disregard their shame and execute their humility for this childish mindset is simply too grotesque and horrific to not take offense to.

Kiwifarms passed "Prude" up a long way down the road, slick. It's more at the "Sadist Inquisitor" level.

This is a place that praises Pol Pot for killing "intellectuals". Prude would be a massive chill-out for this joint.

So how much do you enforce this by force of arms? Especially religion?

When you meet someone, start dating, and have sex, it’s a bonding process and a huge part of figuring out if you have chemistry and requires vulnerability on both sides. I don’t understand how this works when one or both people has explained up front that they do sex as a diaper fur submissive foot fetish cream pie whatever the fuck. How romantic.

So I have no idea if it’s me and my background or what, but I feel like a major prude. I’m constantly shocked at the lack of shame people have about showing off their ugly bodies, saying retarded shit, and describing their preposterous sexual fantasies. Shame-based culture is bad, generally speaking. It causes people to hide from the truth and get defensive when called out. But SOME shame is necessary for a functioning society. Everyone has coping mechanisms and weird thoughts sometimes. But it’s the aggressive way that these fetishes are promoted and the silencing of criticism that creeps me out and makes me a prude. A trans person with a twitter that doesn’t tweet daily about being trans and have pronouns and shit in the bio doesn’t offend me. It’s the furries, the Kevin gibes, the diaper fag loli whatever the fuck.

If all you have to contribute to the world is a declaration of what you masturbate to, you should kill yourself.

Being a prude is not negative, it's ideal. I'm not one and most people aren't except 95 year old women, unfortunately.

Well, I guess it's relative actually. By today's degenerate standards I'm probably more of a prude than old ladies were in the 90's.

it's ridiculous but with everything that isn't twitter-think being actual wrongthink now I don't begrudge people overcompensating a bit when they find a place you can speak. It's just that polarisation leads people to think that the site not being that means it's necessarily the anti-that, not realising what that is is different for different people.
Still I roll my eyes at the weirdly desperate assertive tone we get a lot. It's generally somewhere between not realising you're grasping for a hugbox and homo-hating pastor who ends up the meme. I mean for sure spread your opinions when they're apropos but if you're just spraying them like all our fucking kittens do you're still fucking talking about sex all the time, except without any chance of appealing to anybody who isn't into the group jerk session, you perverts.
