To summarize eternal September and how other sites experienced them in the past, a massive glut of newfags who join the site due to media exposure, current controversy or holidays.

Do you think that we're experiencing eternal September?

That is all.

You have it backwards. Eternal September was when the internet effectively became public and the newfags never stopped. Before Eternal September, September was the month that everything would get shit up by noobies who just got to college and had internet access for the first time. In 1993 AOL basically cracked the internet wide open, and it hasn't closed since.

On KF we get a glut when something big happens, but there isn't nearly the same level of constant new people joining.

Eternal September is when the flood of noobs tarding up the place increases vastly more quickly than the number of noobs wising up and quitting being tards.
