Its always worth reading the OP first if you're looking at lolcows since that will generally give one the most pertinent information that dictates future discussions. However I wish OP's had more ability to be regularly updated since big name lolcows always have interesting and relevant information on like page 547 of 2346. At the very least links to specifically informative pages of lolcows sagas should be added to every OP regularly.

If you are reading Mass Debates pages than it literally doesn't matter where you start since every page in every thread is some new horredenous slap fight that falls apart at the first stitch of a seam.
It's worth it to read the big, popular threads from the start because the 7th or 8th post is always something like "Gay and unfunny. Not a cow" and then you get to laugh at that person for being wrong.

yeah but 90% of posts are just filler virtue signaling and Dr. Chud MD diagnoses and my AHDH brain was fried to hard by the F5´ing the internet to got through it all

if there is some recent stuff going on ill start from the back, but otherwise i go from the start. and if it is a large thread ill stick to highlights, and if i come across a particularity good one, ill read some of the response to it.

I typically jump into threads when ongoing drama is going on, so I'll start by reading the most recent few pages, backwards, then jump to the OP and go through highlights to get to the real juicy bits of what else I've missed.
