Do you pre-squirt condiments?

Does anyone else squirt out a little bit of mustard or ketchup on a plate/in the sink before putting it on something to avoid getting that nasty dry condiment crust on your delicious food or am I a total mental case?

I buy packets of ketchup and mustard like a total autist. Not only is the risk of separation minimized (but not completely gone), you’re able to control the amount of the condiment you’re using instead of producing a wasteful mound.

Yeah that sounds severely autistic going out of your way to buy them yourself, I usually just end up with them kicking around from fast food. Those del taco hot sauces are great though, I wouldn't mind having a box full of them.
