Do you poop before or after your shower?

On one hand, before the shower makes the shower feel a little grosser. On the other hand, after the shower feels like you've undone part of the cleansing ritual of the shower. Also, after the shower it's easier to go because warm water on skin acts as a laxative. This is a conundrum I have to agonize over pretty much every night.

I prefer before. I make sure I am pretty clean back there anyway but getting a shower in makes it feel cleaner. I have had issues with taking a shit all my life. I even have hemorrhoids. These days I take fiber supplements and eat more veggies so not as much. But the damage is already done sort of speak. So, a shower helps. But I generally have to go when I can.

I'm still kind of in the habit of trying to poop before I shower, but after getting one of those add-on bidets for the toilet, I don't care as much since it makes my bum feel clean.

I don't think it was a particular lolcow, but every once in a while the screenshot of a Reddit discussion describing this is posted on the 4chan /fit/ Fat People Hate thread. I'm on there quite a bit, so I have it. Enjoy...

Half the time I schedule my showers just right so I shit beforehand. Let's me rinse out the pipes proper. Other half the time it just doesnt work out like that. Sit on the shitter for 20 trying to push out a struggler, take my 15 minute shower- wouldn't you know it, now my body's ready. Didn't know got water on the skin functioned like a laxative, it makes more sense now. Thought it was my brain working with my colon to fuck with me.
