Do you like spam

Spam is delicious but dangerous unless you are also burning a ton of calories. That's why Pacific Islanders trend chubby; you can't eat like you're paddling a canoe all day unless you're actually paddling a canoe all day.

Camping seems like the ideal application for shelf stable fatty meat. Spam is a rectangular solid form of human-attracting bait, an approximation of bacon made with the sciences of agriculture and applied economics.

I like kipper snacks okay. They're honestly not that good but I grew up eating them, canned fish that grossly still has the scales on it but is fully edible, kind of salty.
I never ate much spam, instinctively think of it as poorfag food. But I tried a spam stir fry - like, eggs, rice, peas and carrots, stuff like that with spam - and it was okay. The spam didn't firm up and crisp like I imagined in my head, but it was still edible while also being cheap as hell.

Edit: Polynesian stir fry. This was flavored with soy sauce and such.

I’ve also made a Polynesian stir fry that was slower cooker BBQ pulled pork over egg fried rice with some sweet potato on the side and banana. Representative of the colonization of Hawaii by Polynesian peoples. It was okay, sweetness overload and I do not recommend using banana in anything (use plantains instead).
