Had one in highschool or around then.

Thing is, we're not from the US so this race bullshit american people obsess over is like a joke here (it would have been a joke, but we weren't concerned at all with how stupid things like that are in the US).

As far as I'm concerned we had no secret words people need to get a pass for, in order to say it.

I had a melaninated pal in middle and high school, he had Cornrows, never did any school work because he'd rather do 2 months of summer school than try at all during the school year but was still adamant he was going to become a NFL manager. He was a fun buddy and I genuinely wish him the best but man I'd lying If I said I believe he's ending up being successful.

I also had a friend with corn rows, he'd always be stinking like burnt hair and okra, always wearing a red shirt, and was part of the debate club which I gave him shit for, I fuckin hope he ended up successful because it seemed like his family was struggling and his sister was nice.

I had black friends growing up. They were really friendly and couldn't do enough for me; they cleaned, gardened and even tended to the cotton-harvest.

They called me masser, which I'm assuming is ebonics for friend?

Had a mixed-race friend in highschool and we used to nigger it up constantly, nigger this, nigger that, because we were huge into rap and grafitti. Back then every domestic rapper, no matter what skin colour, had the niggerword as an integral part of their music, there was nothing to it. God, i miss the 90's.
