Yes. It's important to care about shit. For example, if it's black, you may have ulcers. If it's white, you may have gallbladder issues. The older you get, the more important it is to pay attention to and care about your shit.

Cliched answer I’m sure everyone has heard at some point in their life but it’s true in that the older I get, the less of a shit I give. I still care about things and people close to me, but as far as everything else goes, I can be friendly and civil, I can carry on a conversation about current events but I just can’t bring myself to get wound up or bothered over shit anymore like I did when I was younger.

Like I am going to be dead soon regardless, so who cares? For those that speak German, this song is exactly my life right now. Basically the jist of the song is Who gives a shit? Nothing really matters in the end.:
