Do SSRIs impact your political views?

No? Even the people strung out on them for years on-end (SSRIs are generally prescribed as temporary measure, you aren't supposed to languish on them or embrace them as a permanent solution), I'd argue it's more a case of their political views and long-term SSRI usage are motivated by a deeper fundamental mental problem.
 
It's so funny that people think antidepressants are some magic cheat code that blisses you out or numbs you to reality.

That would be so much cooler than the real problem: that they do fuck-all.
Certain SSRIs can absolutely make you numb. I was on zoloft for almost a year and couldn't feel anxiety basically at all, even about things that I should have been freaked the fuck out about. It's a terrible system... you're supposed to feel bad about things you should change in your life, and if you don't feel bad, you probably won't change them.
