You see faggots getting invisalign and shit when they're adults, spending thousands on making their teeth slightly more straight. Unless your teeth are disgustingly piss stained or really crooked, do you ever even pay attention?

I brush with a Philips Sonicare DiamondClean, and its a game changer. Much easier to reach, including wisdom teeth. Don't really have to think about pressure, as I had trouble applying too much pressure with a manual toothbrush and reminder of how much time I need too brush each part.

Using Sensodyne with Novamin. Ingredient that repairs decay that have begun, but not the ones that are full-blown decays. Looked into it and started it after a dentist told me that I had some starting decay that never developed further. Got no sensitising issues, but the smartest thing to do. Is to prevent it from happening in the first place

There are studies on it and you need a prescription for it in Murica.

Japan got it's own variant, which they use instead of fluoride. Studies says there's no significant difference between those two. Which is good, as the Japanese toothpastes with that is way overpriced. And you need to use it for a long time to see any effect (both of them).

I use a thing I screw on to my shower hose, to water floss. Each morning

I don't eat anything with processed sugar and no carbonation either. Sugar really fucks with your health on a general basis.

Had braces in my teens.

If you got a proper dental routine and nothing feels wrong, going to the dentist is a waste of time and money.

You should care about dental hygiene a lot.

If you don't, you best believe that, at some point in time, you will be completely unable to ignore it. And it will be too late.

  • Teeth cost a shit ton to fix
  • Any type of infection or decay hurts a lot, all day, all night, every fucking second
  • Your mouth will stink if something is wrong with it
  • People are repulsed by bad teeth

I don't see any good reason not to care.

I want braces because my teeth have annoying gaps where food gathers and are painfully crooked. I still have my wisdoms though they are strangely not painful. Was thinking of getting braces in another coutntry besides USA so I don't have to pay the equivalent of a used SUV for a bendy metal stick, aforementioned stick holders, and rubber bands.

I kinda like crooked teeth. Adds a bit of character to the face. Feels like the person who owns them probably doesn't cater overly to keeping up appearences, which I appreciate. I am a stickler about clean and healthy teeth, tongue, and gums. Brush properly, dont smoke or do anything associated with mouth cancer, FLOSS DAILY, keep up dental cleanings, keep the tongue and tonsils clean. Dirty teeth are horrifying. Teeth with plaque visible to the naked eye make me sick. Gums that are gray from buildup.....huurrrk.

I had braces growing up and the whole experience was somewhat painful and invasive.
I then neglected to wear my retainer consistently and my teeth got a bit less aligned.

Therefore, in my eyes, straight teeth are a moral virtue like not being fat.
I'm a dirty dirty sinner.

In the mean time, I have found that the most reliable method to get food out of its hiding places is a water flosser.
It either works extremely well or it's just easier to tell when it's working, but either way it's satisfying.

It gets pretty messy though so I use it in the shower.
