It happens to other races as well. Sometimes older people get eye skin lifts so their field of vision can return to normal.

I remember seeing a video of Asians having some weird device put under their eyelids to open them more. (If anyone knows what I'm talking about, feel free to post it.)
Their comments were things along the lines of "I could see so much more". I wouldn't say they have trouble seeing, but they definitely have a more narrow field of vision than other races.

The eyelid drooping with age is known as Aponeurotic Ptosis. Before the 1970's there was no surgery for it, you had to use a device attached to eyeglasses known as a ptosis crutch, which sucked and was a shitty way to handle the syndrome. Now it is treated surgically with what is known as an External or Internal approach, depending on the exact nature of the condition. Outcomes are generally good.

No because it doesn't block their Iris. only the white part. So they're not really effected. Plus it's really only on the far side of the eye.
