"Female/minority led" is, 9 times out of 10, code for "unwatchable trash" these days, so yet another hard pass. A shame too, Flight of the Navigator was a very interesting little sci-fi yarn from Disney (and actually kinda dark until the Pee-Wee alien shows up).

You *do* realize that 'current day' Disney is absolutely going to de-sexualize Jessica Rabbit as much as possible for this, right? I wouldn't at all be surprised if she ends up looking like a bull dyke before it's all said and done.

I feel bad for forgetting about red head erasure (where Hollywood almost exclusively replaces traditional red-headed characters with black people, because that's 'more woke' or something...) is very much a thing that happens. I don't know how that is going to end up affecting this Disney ride. No matter what though, I bet Jessica Rabbit ends up being significantly *less* sexy as a result of it.

iirc there was pretty solid rule of no booze in the Magic Kingdom until a few years back, but Studios and Epcot were fair game to the point that Drinking Around The World was a low-key cheevo for a couple of decades
but yeah, basically you keep the parents drunk enough to be entertained

What happened to the Jurassic World guy's reboot?

The original movie is great by the way, way underrated.
