the Rocketeer?
I liked it enough to have been excited when I found out Captain America First Avenger was the same director, but why the fuck even bother with the Rocketeer? Isn't there some IP that people give a shit about that they can woke to death?

Regarding black washing stuff.

I thought spiderman into the spider-verse did it just fine,

It when you make the race/gender the only trait of a character that it gets stupid
Miles was already a well-established character at that point, who a lot of people felt had earned his due. It’s not like he was specially created for that movie.

*siggggh*

It's never enough to acknowledge past and its flaws. You have to actively destroy it and pretend it never happened. At least, that's the impression I get from all this bullshit.

Again, a lesson that desperately needs to be learned by these entertainment corporations/wokies sooner rather than later.

Plus I'd say Spider-Verse and the Sony games have made Miles finally be able to stand on his own. Who knew all it took to fully integrate him into the universe was have him be tutored by the original Spider-Man?

It wasn't good to begin with. I don't see why this is a step down.
I didn't say HSM was good to begin with. It's just that, why take a film series best known for one gimmick concisely executed in a feature-length format and bloat it into a TV series?

Money. The answer is always money.

Next up: Jessica is now a fat, black, disabled transwoman.

I half expect it to happen, she’s a red head.

And now I'm MATI, holy shit.

Roger Rabbit’s Car Toon Spin at Disneyland is getting a new plot twist that throws Jessica Rabbit into the lead role as a private eye determined to stamp out a Toontown crime wave.
Wouldn't Eddie Valiant be a better choice for such a role? Since he's, y'know, the main character of the original movie and an ACTUAL PRIVATE EYE?! Oh, I forgot. It's Current Year +6. Can't have a male character be competent and proactive because PATRIARCHEEEEEEEE!
