Ha ha wow, that's a take. Must have been really upset with the way designated sidekicks were treated compared to guys in the hero classes. Haven't seen the movie in a while, so I'm having a hard time figuring out the eugenics angle.I'm sorry, what?

Spielberg has sort of lost his touch since Munich. He's quite the boomer in that respect. look at the films he's directed since. Indian Jones 4, Tintin, BFG, Ready Player One. and now West Side Story. His filmography the past 15 years reads like a below average director in the 80s. even his oscar bait films are maudlin now.
If Spielberg retired after Munich and some other guy directed the crap he put out since, people would see past the reputation and see it for the "meh" it is. West Side Story will end up being as shit as The BFG, a film that like most of Disney's Live Action output, is fucking terrible compared to the made-for-tv movies it rips off. if you've been following Spielberg the last 15 years; he's lost his touch for picking good products and feels that just the idea of him making it should be enough to put asses in seats. Which is why he just makes whatever passion projects he had decades ago (like BFG) does a shit job and moves on and you don't even have to take my word for it. Here's the proof
Heard that a good amount of songs are removed due to political correctness such as "I feel pretty" and "I want to be in america" The off-broadway revival had similar cuts.

I would say that I can’t imagine Stephen Sondheim not objecting to having the songs altered in such a way, but he seemed to be totally cool with the moronic changes and deletions in Sweeney Todd.

I’m mostly referring to the quality of the singing, which I understand is totally subjective. I actually think most of the cuts were understandable (apart from deleting at least the opening Ballad, and the chorus from Pirelli’s Miracle Elixer and God, That’s Good). The score has never sounded better yet with such mediocre voices on top of it.I'll actually respectfully disagree with you there as I view Sweeney Todd as a pretty good movie. Film is a visual medium and musical films tend to suffer from a lack of vision in making the film version feel fresh from its musical counterpart. That film took the medium it had and blended its own style to make it both unique as well as mostly stay true to the source material. Realistically, the songs that were cut in that movie could afford to be cut for the sake of runtime as what works on the stage in terms of pacing does not necessarily work well for a movie. Thus the Antony/Johanna scenes had to be cut so as not to keep jerking the audience around. I think it makes sense.
Forgot they also removed the entire portion with "Somewhere" ballet. The character of Tony, snapping, etc. Was this guys "vision" but who knows anymore what a movie producer would do.That's bullshit. The America song is one of the best goddamn parts of the show, as well as a number to highlight the dancing and dynamics between the Sharks/Anita/etc.

I would assume it's a frozen custard in the actual recipe. But isn't there more to it than that? Isn't it a special kind of ice cream?
I didn't think it was possible to make a movie that's more blatant about being furry bait than Zootopia, but here we are.Brace yourselves...

I hadn't thought about it in that context, but if they get the Zootopia crew for it there might be something worth yiffing t- I mean watching. Watching. yeah.I didn't think it was possible to make a movie that's more blatant about being furry bait than Zootopia, but here we are.
No it's not, Baloo is in Jungle Book. Him and Little John just happen to have a similar design and the same voice because Disney had to save money. All of you simpletons don't see the bigger picture here. Robin hood must happen because it's one of the canon precursors to Tailspin(Dumbo's Flying Circus is the other).
The Tailspin Cinematic Universe is a billion dollar idea.
