You’ll be living in a future where next year Turning Red will win an Oscar for Best Animated Feature and there’s nothing you can do about it, except not watch it.

Or pull a Will Smith and slap your cable provider for only asking you if you want Disney+ installed on your HDTV.

I wish nothing but a pox upon Disney for making American animation such a mess. Among many other people who I'd like to smite, but fedposting isn't allowed on the Farms.

Meanwhile, back in the 1970s and 1980s:
In 1978, a group of lesbians and gay men decided they wanted to rent out part of Disneyland for a night. In order to make this happen, they formed the innocent-sounding organization “The Greater Los Angeles Restaurant and Bar Association,” as they knew Disney wouldn’t allow the event if they were up front with who would be attending. About a week before the event, higher-ups at the company found out and panicked. Disney couldn’t shut down the event, fearing an anti-discrimination lawsuit from the organizers, so they prepared for the worst possible scenario.

According to Sean Griffin, media scholar and author of Tinker Belles and Evil Queens: The Walt Disney Company from the Inside Out, told Orlando Weekly that “Live music was canceled at the last second so that there would be no encouragement for same-sex dancing. They beefed up security. They told people who were working that day, or at least for that night, that courtesy was optional.” And speaking of same-sex dancing…
In 1957, Disneyland began a policy that anyone at their summer Date Night events at Plaza Gardens who wanted to dance had to do so with a partner of the opposite sex. This rule led to several discrimination lawsuits filed against Disney. In 1980, Disneyland security evicted Andrew R. Exler and Shawn Elliott from the park for dancing together at Tomorrowland Terrace during a Disneyland Date Night. They sued the park, and in May 1984, Judge James R. Ross ruled that Disneyland had to allow same-sex dancing. The catch was that this ruling was only to apply to Exler and Elliott. Disneyland lifted the policy shortly after Videopolis opened in 1985, since teenagers requested its removal so that they could dance with their friends.

This wasn’t the end of Disney’s dance-based discrimination against same-sex couples. In 1988, Eric Hubert, Jeffrey Stabile Jr., and Christopher Drake sued Disney after a security guard informed them that “touch dancing is reserved for heterosexual couples only.” Both cases are outlined in greater detail by Kevin Perjurer of Defunctland in his video about the history of Videopolis.
Fucking hypocritical faggots. And of course the libtard seals will clap and excuse them of all wrongdoing because "THEY'RE TRYING TO DO BETTER NOW".

I was recommended Proud Family latest clips on YouTube and let's just say it's not good. However, I loved the clip of Penny canceling "Make-up Boy." I wonder how many trannies will come out and say the show is transphobic because of this scene?

Could we said karma bites back Disney because they have to face the unintended consequences from what I read on that article?

The law of unintended consequences comes for Disney

By Pandra Selivanov

Back in 1967, the Reedy Creek Improvement District agreement was created to lure Disney to Florida. The agreement allows the district governmental powers to facilitate recreational projects and tourism. Florida's legislature felt that it would benefit the state if recreational organizations had the power to act as their own government in areas like property development, water control, public utilities, law enforcement, and fire protection. The mouse eagerly took the cheese, and today most of the land is owned by Walt Disney World. It's been a pretty sweet deal for Disney, allowing the company to develop its own building codes and water systems. The agreement also contains language giving the district legal jurisdiction if later laws create conflict.
Now Florida legislators are threatening to pull those special privileges if Disney continues to strike at HB1557, a piece of legislation that has been dubbed the "Don't Say Gay" law. In reality, the only thing the legislation bans is teaching children from kindergarten through the third grade about sexual orientation and gender identity. Parents overwhelmingly support the new law, preferring to keep education on such topics for very young children in the home. Considering that Disney has always touted itself as a family-friendly company, it would seem a foregone conclusion that the company would be persuaded, or at least cautioned, by the wide support HB1557 has among its customer base.

It appears that Disney has chosen to cast its lot with those who oppose parents deciding what, and when, their children learn about sex. The company has stated, “Our goal as a company is for this law to be repealed by the legislature or struck down in the courts." Jose Castillo, who is running for Congress and is also a Disney employee, shared with Fox News, "There is immense pressure to toe the company line" and that Disney bashing the new law has them "straying far away from the values that made this company the household name all Americans know and love." A group of Disney employees has issued an open letter about how uncomfortable the work environment has become since the company became entangled in progressivism rather than the magic of storytelling.
As of now, Disney is standing firmly with far-left values which make not only conservative employees, but also conservative consumers, feel increasingly alienated. If Florida legislators carry out their goal of repealing the Reedy Creek Improvement District agreement, Disney might find its magic kingdom turning into a castle in the air, blown away on the winds of outrage from consumers who just want Mickey back.

Well, if Florida wants to alienate one of the biggest employers in the state, then I guess they have every right to... but the economy's gonna suffer if they pack up and leave.

Btw, I saw a thread on City-data forums a thread where users reacted to Disney hypocrisy telling where they stand against DeSantis' bill but the Disney cruise still stop in countries where homosexuality is still illegal.

Not seeing it, but it was an obvious joke. No way Universal's going to gain in attendance.

A park can dream, though.
No, I really was wondering, but apparently they still do have the Marvel license and will for a good long while. So good on them.

Well, David, I'm sure your classmates would have called you a faggot for using their deaths to carry you.

But was the shooter disturbed simply because he was told he was evil for being born a white male? Methinks there'd be less cases of school shooters if boys weren't treated like fucking garbage just for being born male.
