I think retail is the only option right now. I want to get away from the paper pusher crap and what I need now is advice on how to hide my MA and non-retail work from my resume so it can be one page.
Just looking for short-term work in a deli or something for the holidays. 20x6 (2026) will be my year.
I shouldn't even discuss having years of deli experience from 2012-17?
I'd rather not work than be a manager ever. I just can't do management. Telling other people how to do something isn't my style... I'd rather just do what needs to be done!
I don't want to derail the thread so I'll continue the convo here. If your coworkers can get away with taking home expired food for free, you probably will too. What was your old job at the deli like?I would not do well there. I have no good experience in that. Specifically looking for holiday kitchen work just to keep some sort of income. Where I can get free food (I'm too honest, thuogh. I'd actually pay the discount price at Erik's Deli instead of taking it like all the others!)
