In October 2018, Chris began talking about how the dimensions 1218 (what he thinks is our Earth's dimension) and C-197 (the Sonichu-verse's dimension) will merge together.
Aside from how this would fulfill his dream of hanging with his Sonichu pals, Chris also believes that he is wealthy in CWCville and will therefore be able to pay off his increasingly crushing debt once the dimensions merge. He has asked people to loan him real world money with the promise that he will pay them back post-merge.
The merge appears to be another troll scheme based on messing with his headcanon about his own fictional world - on October 14th, the Magi-Chan troll logged into his Twitter to post that Chris will be working on the merge, and Chris has subsequently mentioned that he has "allies" helping him with the merge, also noting that he is a minor player in all of it.

The merge officially kicked off:
11/18 - Chris says, "The time has come." Followed a few hours later with a recap of the lecture, and then him tweeting that the merge is in progress and will take final effect soon. Notably, this is also the anniversary of Jonestown, another sign that trolls are behind this.
11/22 - Chris says the merge is in progress, isn't allowed to say more. Later, says Fate is involved and will kill anyone who tries to stop the merge.
12/6 - He gives a bit more detail to someone who texted him, saying a Florida wildfire was one of the signs of the merge, and that Trump will leave us soon in favor of his counterpart.
12/10 - Chris mentions headaches and feelings of numbness, attributes them to the merge.
12/17 - Chris made a weird non sequitur tweet on the new dimension's name and says he's the Wall of it.
12/20 - Chris thinks he has lightning powers, will make a video when merge finishes.
12/22 - Chris insists he can see/hear the other dimension, and that he's experiencing bouts of Deja Vu and sensations of lightning, as proof the merge is imminent. Says he's mentioned some of this to his therapist.
12/25 - Chris says merge is in final steps, is working with other deities. Also has met Arceus (a Pokemon). Later, someone posts on Chris's Twitter - doxing the Teen Troon Squad and saying the Merge will actually happen in 20 years. Afterwards, Chris interprets the remarks as everyone else will be hibernating for 20 years while he will be crossing into the new dimension.
12/26 - The Teen Troon Squad has apparently taken the reins back. Chris has disregarded everything from the dox post yesterday, saying that was the work of a gremlin. The Merge is back on track.
The merge was slated to conclude by year's end.
1/1/2019 - Chris says the Merge is still ongoing, claims it is only delayed with red tape.
1/2 - Chris is salty Merge hasn't happened: "Damn Dimension 1218’s “Reality” Limits and Shit!!!"
