Did a couple of the Samurai Pizza Cats voice-actors voice some background Digimon or humans by any chance? I could swear Speedy Cerviche's VA was.
 
1) Skullseadramon should be louder, angrier, and have access to a time machine.
2) When Skullseadramon is not on-screen, all the other digimon should be asking “where’s Skullseadramon?”

3) The only time Skullseadramon should not be present is in service to build anticipation for the next moment Skullseadramon will be.
 
They're doing a demo for the Time Stranger starting tomorrow. I've heard that the saved data from the demo will carry over to the game.

I was hoping Time Stranger would be a bit more polished compared to previous entry but doesn't seem much like it, visually at least. Like Soul Hackers 2 when you hold it up against.. I'd say Persona 5, but it kinda looks like slop too. Metaphor was meant to be "a step above" and it also looked cheap as shit. I guess that's just how anime games are these days?

I'll probably get it on a sale in the future. Certainly nothing to throb a digidonger about. I'm not exactly nostalgic about Digimon but seeing the new designs and whatever the hell this is, it feels like it's starting to completely dissolve into any other anime. It's not even heckin' based perversion like Shin-Chan. It's just.. mid.

Are you upset it's not a porn game?

The plot is interesting. You're a time agent sent to stop Digimon who manifest in the past and cause havoc. Suicides, wars, riots and everything society can go to go wrong happens. You appear to be in some kind of time loop and the agency may not be what it seems. Some giant fuck off angel thing appears and fights a shadow monster while you try to rescue a girl who knows you but you don't remember.

The opening is very shin megami tensei. The gameplay is snappy except annoying slow walk segments the demo peppers throughout. The cast is.. well it's a weeb game, you know the cast already.

I liked it and I enjoyed it. I wish it didn't have a battle pass (deluxe edition comes with it) and it makes me want to pirate it. But the demo was an enjoyable hour. Had lots of mons I didn't expect and good evolution options.
 
I don't care for JRPGs so it already wasn't on my radar but the fact that it is has Denuvo and body type A/B shit(which leads me to wonder if it's localization is going to be as messy as cyber sleuth's and hacker's memory) seals the deal further

Yea which I don't care for, I played cyber sleuth and found it fun years ago but I could never see myself replaying it ever or anything similar to it especially after playing through digimon world next order which I found to be way more fun and Digimon feeling

By the looks of it it won't be a kowloon situation at least. Man I hated that dungeon by the end.

Somehow for one reason or another I just never ended up playing it. Might give it a try though.

The denuvo I really am not a fan of either, and the body type a/b is hopefully the only woke shit. I will definitely wait a few days before buying, IF I end up buying it.
 
I really enjoyed the demo, I wish we would've of seen more of the new digimon as I think Kotemon is the only new addition that you can recruit in the demo, while the others all appeared in previous games.

Obviously full of spoilers.

Also, more thoughts on the demo: Why use omegamon yet again as "that big mysterious digimon that shows up to help" I know it's iconic, but it's also overused. Also, I wish that the game had used the original japanese terms instead of the english ones for evo stages and such.

From the teaser it seems it's taking a similar idea (transporting around) but instead of the lame "Need to be in cyberspace" shtick it used they're going way more graphic.

the cyberspace was especially annoying because in the show there are still things like trees. I enjoyed the Evolving/Devolving mechanic from cyber sleuth more than the pokemon systems. it's more similar to what SMT has become but a little more control imo.
