Did JFK kill himself?

Take a look at this angle. It looks like John F. Kennedy reached into his inner coat pocket for something. Then he places his hand under his chin, while Jackie is trying to stop him, and bam, there goes his grey matter.

Now isn't it possible that JFK reached for a snub nosed pistol, placed it under his chin, and then shot himself instead? That would explain why his body slumped over to the side rather than forward which you'd expect from being shot in the back of the head.

As for motive, I have no idea. Maybe he just didn't want to be president anymore and decided to ragequit in a spectacular, drama-queen spectacle in front of everyone.
