The tech alpha dropped today, and as there's no thread for anything outside of Diablo 3, here we are. Unfortunately I didn't fucking get in (maybe I will during the invite roll out today, who knows), maybe some of you lucked out.

The guys who developed the Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 + 2 Remake are the ones working on it, which bodes well, and from everything I can gather, this is a straight up remaster that holds true to the original. Apparently there's also a setting in game where you can go back to the original graphics (upscaled).

Whoever gets in is allowed to stream as well, if you're into watching livestreams.

Yeah no thanks. I'll stick with the superior version made over two decades ago. You know, the masterpiece made by Blizzard not whatever corpse Activision stuck sunglasses on.
 
As a highly autistic individual, this remake makes me angry. It is along the same lines as the Final Fantasy VII Remake. They sell you on a remake and then start changing things around and when all is said and done you are still sitting around waiting for the actual remake and not the new game they released instead.

Anyone who buys Blizzard/Activision after what they did to W3 deserves it.
I'm just waiting for Vicarious Visions to inevitably release their woke games now too. I hope it's after the THPS 3 + 4 remakes.

Expect woke weens on Twitch like Maximillian_Dood to be loving it though.

Look man all I'm saying is it's a bad look to have a black paladin when they only give you jewelry for neck armor and none of them have any buffs to breathing.
 
They are about 4 years late because unless you specifically want to play Diablo 2 for that nostalgia factor, Grim Dawn and Path of Exile exist and is better anyways.

I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt of this one. The old look graphics isn't exactly making her look any less like a roided out troon. If anything the newer model looks more female in the face then what ever the fuck that old one looks like.

Looks like a white version of @Troonos :story: While the new one looks like a old man in wonder women cosplay.
