Didn't Arch's ultimatum boil down to "just do the videos you promised instead of wasting time on my show"? Re-watching his older videos, and the videos of his contemporaries he still associates with (Stich mostly) and the reoccurring theme is this. "We have a good thing going, STOP fucking it up with Wokeness."

One of the reasons they hated woke was that it was slowly energizing the Right. From how the persistent banning and exile of the Right public spaces would lead to the Right forming its own space, to the politiczation of media forcing an "Everything is political" mindset. Heck Stich pointed out that the obsessive use of racial politics could lead to white supremacy rising in response.
