Similar to his video about anti-car people, this most recent video comes frustratingly close to a glimpse to an alternative reality. One where Dev managed to dodge most of the now-terminal conditions affecting him (at least in terms of them influencing his YouTube content.) He just can't help but include a hefty dose of "rightoids bad, actually." The two aforementioned videos, could've so easily been "low-hanging fruit" of sorts where he takes something genuinely insane from the left, makes fun of it. That way he would at least have some plausible deniability on claims that he's not actually a centrist, but a leftist masquerading as one.

Anyway, as a followup from Dev act as the hype man for WhickTV and Destiny, Vee was on the Broken Crown podcast and the first hour was all about Dev goading them into a gay internet debate.

TL;DR - The whole premise of the debate is bunk: Colbert wasn't censored by the Trump admin, he's running foul of decades old broadcasting regulations and put it up on YouTube instead where the regulation isn't applicable... they all thought it was odd that Dev doesn't appear to be included in the docket and don't want to just be debating Destiny... online debates against leftists are bullshit because they know it's not an honest exchange of ideas and they're just looking for moments where their opponents flub to be clipped to make them look bad... debating the left is in general is a fool's errand after Charlie Kirk was assassinated and the left cheered... Dev is a tool because he's demanding a debate but keeps ducking Ace who actually wants to have one... and there's probably some more but I don't feel like watching this again. Arch and Sargon just had their weekly podcast, I'll listen to it at work tomorrow to see if either mention Dev's provocation of the two of them, because scanning through the preview it doesn't appear that they put the twitter message on.

I think that's also the play, but he's going to have some issues. For one he's just really fucking boring and his videos are a slog to get through. They have little editing and they are mostly retreads of topics that were hot 2 months ago. His output is also shit,. From my own personal experience as someone who is formerly "woke." He's going need to trade in his old "problematic" opinions or hope they never get noticed. The left now isn't the left the of the early 00's. For all the issues Dev has with Rightoids that space is easier to navigate.
