Funny because we have had 100+ years of development on the gas powered engine. Even with all the emission dampening standards, to get 30 miles of travel in a 1000 pound+ vehicle on one gallon of fuel for about 3 dollars is incredible. I've seen gas min maxers get 50+ miles, and motorcycles get even more than that.

But fuck that technology, lets throw it all into a new one. Where a battery needs to be replaced in 3 years, costs 30K, and requires a lithium strip mine, as opposed to some oil pump operating in the middle of no where. Also, you have no power redundancy. Want to turn on the AC or heater? That's 50 less miles you're driving, because it's 100% electric, with no excess power being used on an alternator.

I absolutely find this to be a conspiracy to stop free travel. I can hoard gas, hoarding electricity is much harder. Not to mention cash for clunkers, which destroyed the used car part market.

IMO, As someone who produces slop Dev is both boring and unprofitable to make content on. Unless you were to explore his lore, which is quite vast he is just kinda worthless. So let me get this straight:

The problem with that is you need to take something away from him. But he doesn't have much that he cares about that can be taken away. For most content creators its either their channel or income via video making. Well his channel is dying and he barely makes anything off of it. Doesn't have a family he can lose. He doesn't have prestige or some kind of certification to lose. At this point the only find out he could receive is either being homeless or be so wrong he goes viral. Like, he basically needs to be made a meme by Asmongold. The only other thing that could happen would be someone visiting him irl and kicking his ass. Which, to be frank would not be worth it.

I was thinking about this recently. I think dev may very well be the biggest loser I've ever encountered. I went down the list of lolcows I know, and I couldn't think of a single one who didn't have a leg up on dev in some way.
