It's hard to even say Dev is a centrist or leftist, his political positions seem to be primarily derived out of spite and a desire to make people angry than any real coherent ideological framework nowadays.

Since then it's been made abundantly clear debate is a waste of time. This coming from Dev is insane given one of the reasons he ended his friendship with those two is because he got assblasted that they kept destroying him in debates (I refuse to believe the slimy 'they weren't treating me as friends excuse' especially when you see how Dev treats his own interlocutors). If all the reply guys he squabbles on twitter with are anything to go by, that simply isn't true either.

Serious question though. I havent seen the two interact much. Do they? One thing about the D&D disaster thats never made much sense to me was Dev destroying it over Rags. I never got any kind of indication that they gave much of a shit about each other before or since.

He's definitely not centrist. On a GOOD day, he'd probably fit in somewhere in center-left; though with current TDS/RDS bullshit, he's pretty much destiny-level Leftist. Only difference is he's not AS left as someone like Hasan or Vaush. It's impossible to say how much they interact off camera or how far they go back. I think they may have both been in Sargon or Arch campaigns before (Arch's VtM one I think), Dev has been a guest on EFAP and I think they were both in the orbit of more successful skeptics for a while before that.
